The weather report for this weekend sounds miserable. Mid to high 90's, no rain, high humidity... Heh, heh, heh...

You mean there are trees left in Houston? You tell me. This is a view of the downtown skyline from Memorial Park, where these idiots are stationed.

Yup, Houston is the place to go to protect trees in California!

I live in Dallas now, and I might just head down to Houston this weekend to watch the pain that the Houston weather will inflict on these idiots. I will be sure to bring a lawn chair made of wood, a styrofoam cooler of beer . . . er, water, a couple packs of cigarettes, some aerosol cans of bug spray and a big freaking American flag. That should give them something to b!tch about.

You got that right. It sures make a lot of sense to protest Ca trees while sitting in Houston trees.
This guy probably doesn't have a job that makes enough money for him to go to CA. That's because he is to busy protesting than earning a living.
What a jerk.

They should use a shotgun and blast their supplies out of the tree. Or, use a .22 cal just bust their water jugs.

The mosquitos and humidity will clear out just in time for a force 5 hurricane. Then the reporters can get video footage of them sitting in the trees singing "Nearer My God to Thee"...

Uh... I don't think you have ever been close enough to one of these militant hippies. I don't think even mosquitos are interested in being near them.

It doesn't have to rain in Huston for the humidity to reach 100%.

...rain comes, washing dirt and silt into rivers and onto other people's land," Trust said as he smoked a cigarette. "That kills endangered species." Save the environment, pollute their own bodies. Whatta hypocrite.
BTW, I'm not anti-smoking, I'm anti-hypocrisy.

I caught that "smoked a cigarette" bit...
I thought people from Californis didn't smoke! Or they weren't allowed to... :)
Hey, maybe they can add arson and polluting the air when they arrest them. =:)

When I lived there (over 15 years ago) there were hardly any trees at all. You had to go out of town to find any and they were huge. It was a stark contrast. The picture looks beautiful. I would have thought they had cut down the last of them years ago.

We consider a mere 100% humidity "temperate".
To: TrebleRebel
Now that you mention it, isn't there a hurricane building in the gulf heading their direction?
I think that would be interesting footage to see these guys wisked away into a hurricane!
