I just can't find anything humorous in them. They are destroying the morale of our fighting men and women. They are attempting to destroy the President of the United States and they are hurting our country. I just don't see what's funny. Even Fox News has jumped on the "let's destroy Bush bandwagon". UGH!

One thing Mike tells me all the time is that when they attack the President they feel they are being attacked.....Mike will be calling me in few days, he has to go to Kuwait and he'll sneak a phonecall before he heads back to Balad...he knows the Rats, he's very political(he's a poll judge and a freeper)...LOL

Maybe we can get an address where we can send mail and I bet the White House could get them delivered ASAP! No waiting!

I am going to do some contacting and see what I can come up. Would be nice if General Myers or SecDef Rumsfeld could personally deliver the letters from the Americans who support the War.

Maybe FR could be the catylist that gets it done. I will be back in touch!

I'll write a letter and I bet lots of others would, as well. We cannot allow our troops to feel that the public is against them because they're not. Just the Commie RATS and the commie media.

That's funny. I was thinking about the President going there, too. However, Baghdad is probably not the best place for him at the moment. I sure wish it was safe for him to go there...

I hope you are right...Bush should have never said those 16 words were a mistake....Rats thrive on others mistakes....

Bush has repeatedly lowered expectations about his handling of the war issues, and then come back with a one-two punch that annihilates his opponents. Just think, while the media is talking about this, and getting the Dim nines' soundbites, no one is listening to what the candidates have to say about anything else.

I pray for our troops daily, and now I will include your hubby and son and their companies, that they all remain safe and come home whole and sound.

Thanks for your prayers....my son is stateside...he's assigned to Force Protection, an MP guarding military base gate...he's not too happy, he wanted to link up with his dad in Iraq, but he is thankful he's doing something.

Somehow I have the feeling his Mom is one happy person. My daughter in the Navy is on a training assignment with shore duty for two years. I know I am one happy person!

I can imagine. I could not fathom having both a husband and a son over there! Glad he was turned down even he wasn't!

This is some great stuff. Thanks for the ping.

I expect when the air goes out of this overblown controversy...the Dems are going to look dirty.

Let's face it, they no longer have a liberal media monopoly to give them immunity from the truth.

Remember these are the same people who tried to say Bush KNEW about 9-11 ahead of time and did nothing....and who claimed Bush was poisoning us all with the exact same levels of arsenic in the water that was fine for 8 years under Clinton.

These people are so disgraceful and brazen about their smear campaigns it's hard not to see them for what they are.

'Operation Infinite Freedom' has been maintained on a daily basis by null and void, TexKat, Ragtime Cowgirl and other contributors to the thread. They have been dedicated to bringing the news to a central location since day one of the war in Iraq.

If there is good news conveyed by the media about our military, TexKat finds and posts it. Included are some beautiful photos of our troops doing their job well. It is a wonderful place to keep up, not only with Iraq, but Afghanistan and other areas where events affect our national interests.

one other thing he told me was that his troops and other GI's he's talked to from different units can't understand why the media isn't reporting all the good things they are doing...he was talking with a captain in the 3rd ID who said that most Iraqi's support them overwhelmingly...thanking them, crying in gratitude, grabbing and shaking and kissing their hands.....where are these stories?

This angers me to no end. It seems the media speaks for all of Iraq, from the Iraqi's national mood to the attacks on US troops, from within a limited radius around Baghdad. What is going on in Iraq right now is a fight for the hearts and souls of the Iraqi people, for their belief in their own ability to self govern in some sort of democratic fashion. What does the media do, aid the detractors with an endless stream of negativity and disillusionment. That is not journalism, it's propaganda.

I just realized something -- President Bush keeps getting bashed for apologizing for having that in his speech but he didn't apologize and SoS Powell said there was no need to apologize. Where did everyone get the idea that President Bush issued an apology? This is what AP says and it says White House not President Bush:

Earlier this week, the White House acknowledged that it was a mistake for the information to be included in the speech. The administration's strong rebuttal on Friday came after several news organizations, including the AP, reported that U.S. intelligence officials had expressed doubts -- before and after Bush claimed in January that Iraq was seeking uranium in Africa -- over the basis for such a claim.

How is an acknowledgement that it was a mistake, an apology?

Thanks much. She must have to search high and low to find positive articles. If it wasn't for AF News Service, I wouldn't be reading much positive.
