Looks like we need to know a whole lot more about this study to interpret it. What is a "relationship?" What is the AVERAGE length of a heterosexual "relationship?" Obviously, it's not the same as for heterosexual marriage. Does this mean that the guy who has been married for four and a half years, but had three six-month "relationships" in high school has an average relationship of 1.5 years? What about the guy who has been married for ten years, but has a one-night stand? Is his average five years and a few hours?

You suspect wrong. The Federal Marriage Amendment – H.J. Res. 56 is alive and well. Assuming the 58% of americans finding the chosen behavior immoral and wrong are NO votes I'd say there's more who are neutral who'd vote no too. Funny perspective though.

Your answer has nothing to do with the context inwhich I addressed the other poster who was looking for proof of long-term relationships. Go off on a tangent all you want.
