The increased concentration of carbon dioxide has no significant climatic effect. It does have significant environmental effects, some positive, some not. The latter are significant and it is noteworthy that environmentalists dont' mention them at all.

The more radical leaders of this movement want to return man to the "noble savage" state that is in harmony with nature. Think about the ramifications of that...

Should we be reduced to the "noble savage" state, my principle form of protein intake will be "Green Steak", I plan on stalking and eating them to "improve the environment".

Good. I only have one piece of advice....SUE THE HELL OUT OF WHOMEVER IS FINANCING THESE FRUITCAKES. After all, whats good for the goose is good for the gander. And by all means don't stop there. Go for the individuals in civil court. The people that may lose their job due to these frivolous law suits must be made to pay....Just like these companies are being made to pay for their stock losses in these retirement plans. I'm sure that after a few losses the "World Workers Party" might have to "refinance" thier efforts.

I am writing an article on the topic that I will gladly post here when it is done. It is about the fertilization effect of carbon dioxide and its influences upon forest structure in the arid interior West. More on that I won't say for now.

>>There are quite a few scientists who speak out against environmentalism run amok.<<

The problem is, from my perspective, that even the anti-environmental side has too many 'scientists' who are heavily invested in the fossil fuel status quo. Just like this guy. When people see 'Cato' and 'Libertarian,' they will doubt his veracity, just as they doubt the veracity of most of the pro-climate-change advocates.

It would be ideal for people to hear a debate between two scientists who are entirely disinvested from ideology, agenda, or profit. That might end the hoopla once and for all. But do such scientists exist today?
