"There have been numerous articles under this title which I never read"

understandable. It seems like a debate in semantics.

However, it is a critical issue. Most Americans believe we have two opposing parties with opposing political philosophies. There is no evidence that that is true.

We have two socialist organizations fighting over the right to direct programs to their favored cronies. It is no longer a debate about philosphy or even policy, it is merely a debate about how to split the spoils.

The average American who calls himself a conservative and is pro-Constitution and pro-small government keeps electing "conservatives" who are pro-socialism.

I don't think he/she is ignoring us. I'm sure they'll re-instate the new article.

EnterStageRight seems to be a fairly major publication for conservatism.

FreeRepublic is a great place to debate such conservative issues.

I'm the camp adjutant with Chief Clinton Camp#366 in Abilene. If you're interested I can get you a list of Camps in the Houston area. Or better yet go to www.texas-scv.org

Hope you rejoin a camp in your area. Welcome to Texas!

I'm not ignoring you. The fastest way to contact us is to use the abuse report links. We sometimes can not read our mail or pings as quickly. Your thread is restored.

You don't seem to understand the politics of the issues. I know that California and some of the other SW states are under heavy assault from illegal immigration and it's very frustrating, but a lot of the responsibility needs to be shared with the states who elected leftist legislators that passed laws to and issued executive orders to allow the situation to get so far out of control that even stop gap measures seem extreme.

The problem with the fight is that people are taking it out on Bush at a time when their lack of support will help elect a Democrat. It's all in the way the frustration is expressed.

"You don't seem to understand the politics of the issues."

That's an awfully bold statement. As someone who has previously dedicated part of my career to running congressional campaigns, I've not often been criticised for not understanding the politics. But you may be right, I'll watch out. ;^)

Regarding illegal immigration, the States are indeed deficient in holding the Feds responsible for protecting the borders.

However, President Bush has a primary constitutional reponsibility to defend the border and uphold the laws of the land. His current position on illegal immigration violates both of those responsibilities. IMHO.

It's the first thing we use. That's where the 'action' is. We try to read mail and pings, sometimes it's impossible. Actually, we prefer if you did use the abuse reports for everyday stuff, like pulling a post or thread, correcting spelling in the title, quick questions, etc, and links are extremely helpful. Also, if you want a reply, please leave your screen name, your report is anonymous to us.
