NEW YORK - Kristin Gore, daughter of former Vice President Al Gore, is writing a novel.

"Sammy's Hill," the story of a health care analyst working for an Ohio senator, is tentatively scheduled to come out in 2005.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Gore, who will be published by Miramax Books, has a background in both show business and politics. She gave speeches during her father's 2000 presidential campaign and wrote for the animated Fox television series "Futurama."

At least one child of a famous politician has become a successful author. Margaret Truman, daughter of President Truman, wrote a series of popular thrillers, including "Murder at the White House" and "Murder in Georgetown

Is she going to write a story about a young, underage daughter of a fictitious Senator from Tennessee who is arrested for public intoxication outside a high school party in a wealthy Washington suburb?

Kristin Gore, daughter of former Vice President Al Gore, is writing a novel.

If it is as entertaining/enlightening as the average episode of Futurama, it will not have siblings.

If she wants to sell books, I'd suggest the following change:

"...the story of a health care analyst intern working for an Ohio senator

Perhaps this imbecile will also hire one of Hillary's "ghost writers" to give her a hand.

Everything about the cancellation of "Futurama" is sad, Gorons included.

Why hasn't she "enlisted" into the armed forces to be a good "patriot"?
