Worse, they are traitors. If we ever really start to investigate and prosecute traitors, we'll need to double the number of prisons and we'll need to change our paradigms for execution back to mass methods such as the gallows. Seriously....

You won't get an argument from me on that. It is going to take a new Revolution though to fret out and prosecute the legion of traitors in our government and their partners in crime that have sold out America to the PRC. The current system enables, promotes and protects these traitors. Things are so rotten in the Beltway today I have to wonder just what it takes to be prosecuted for high treason anymore.

The sad and predictable believers in obsessive economism naively believe we have banished war between great powers from the planet. They are steering the ship toward the rocks.

Yes, that's the BIG THEORY that proponents of One-Way Free Trade always push. That there won't be wars in the future because every nation has too much to lose.

The glaring flaw in this line of reasoning that jumps out right away is: What happens if things don't turn out this way? Then America is faced with an enemy that is far more powerful than it would have been if we as a nation were not so pitifully stupid and short sighted in our trade practices. In other words...we are screwed.

And that IS the case with China. America is handing over its critical industries to a hostile totalitarian power that is intentionally exploiting our goodwill to build up their own technological/industrial infrastructure to use against America when they can. It's like History doesn't exist with this bunch.

You are right on the Mark--They are steering the ship toward the rocks. My guess is that America is going to be shipwrecked soon if we don't get out of these one way industry destroying trade deals and start demanding economically sound bilateral trading relationships.

And that is one of the principle thesis of The Dragons Fury Series, and one of the principle reasons I am writing the books.

As a people and as a nation we need to wake up and realize that today's free trade has nothing whatsoever to do with, and is in no way similar to the FREE MARKET. It's wordsmithing for popularizing and putting forth a policy to drain the Umited States manufacturing, technological, agricultural, energy and other critical industries in order to weaken us...plain and simple.

Well Said Jeff. I was over at Amazon a few days ago and saw the great reviews your books are getting over there. You selected an intriguing area to center your writings on. I gotta read it.

I believe you will enjoy the entire series. It's been like an itch I just had to scratch, although I have never written like this before early 2001.

I believe we are standing into significant peril and danger and that we need to wake up. It was my hope that the critical messages regarding our economic, foreign, immigration, manufacturing, energy and military policies might be conveyed in a thrilling read...it was also my hope that the most critical message, that of the importance of the underlying moral foundation to our liberty might also be conveyed and get people thinking.

Let me know what you think, and if you are so inclined, please spread the word.

Jeff

That my friend is EXACTLY what it it is ... it's a shame that there are so many knotheaded free "traitors" in the USA AND on this site that are so blinded by the chance of earning that easy buck at the expense of their fellow American that they can NOT see the damage that is being done to our republic because of it.

If I run a medical practice, and I send my digital MRI and X-Ray test results to a diagnostic lab in India, how is anyone supposed to know that a "service" has just been transferred via e-mail?

By following the money trail.

That's probably easier said than done, especially if the transaction is done between two U.S. companies with subsidiaries in India (or vice versa).

Auditing isn't going to do the trick if what is going on is completely legal. And you know it will only be a matter of time before loopholes are found!

True. I'm talking about the question of evading tariffs.

And you know it will only be a matter of time before loopholes are found!

No doubt. Let's hope for well written, clear and concise legislation written with the Constitution in mind.

OK, tariffs with loopholes.
