>>"If this were put to a vote in California 75% of the population woule vote against it."<<

Not that THAT would mean anything. I remember a vote (forgot the name/#) maybe 10 yrs ago where nearly 60% of the voting Kalifornicaters voted to stop all services to illegals (education, medical, housing, welfare). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it went to the leftie courts, which declared it unconstitutional.

So much for the will of we the people.

KA is a goner. RIP.

One of my sisters worked for NOW in DC (hey, it's a job...).

Anyway, across the hall from her was a man undergoing a sex change and wearing female clothing, etc. She was trying to learn to live with it, but problems arose when she was asked to work late several times a week. She had baby-sitting problems and they told her she could bring her son in, no problem.

She refused to bring her son in to be around the guy, and after a few weeks, decided to leave. The great Patricia Ireland herself talked her into staying, but my sister didn't last too much longer. Just not an environment you want to work in.

BTW - after all their talk about sisterhood, etc., the white lesbians used to sit around after hours and use all kinds of racist language against blacks. That was another reason my (black) sister couldn't stay...

In SPITE of the Dems...it's a wonderful state. We're just having a bit of a problem right now. Hang in there everyone, we're fixing it up.

Here's are some pictures of Roger doing his show in front of my store (that's me sitting down). We have the largest Oktoberfest in So. Cal on the street my store is on. I got Roger to broadcast in front of my establishment that day. It was a lot of fun (And I got tons of publicity!!!). He's coming back this year too.

This always happens when the California Senate has passed all the budget items and other important business and has nothing else to do. Oh, wait a minute...

There is now a Gay/Lesbian Caucus in the Cal legislature. Heck with the budget, that's what they're there for.

The California Legislative LGBT Caucus was originally formed in June 2002. The members include Assembly Speaker pro Tempore Christine Kehoe, the Caucus chair, Senator Sheila James ["Zelda"] Kuehl, and Assemblymembers Jackie Goldberg, John Laird, and Mark Leno. The caucus' role is to present a forum for the California Legislature to discuss issues that affect lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Californians and to further the goal of equality and justice for ALL Californians.

Programs designed to protect one from narrow minded people most likely ain't goofy.

It is not narrow minded to consider homosexuals and "transgendered" people abnormal deviants. Indeed, it is using one's God-given common sense. And now, it's getting to the point where a person needs a backbone to acknowledge it. Calling people like me and many others here "narrow minded" is a small step from calling us "haters" and "homophobes" - and THAT is a small step from calling the Thought Police.

, but they should not be able to tell someone already employed what they can or cannot wear on or off the job, unless it is a condition of employment such as where a uniform is called for or where safety is a concern.

In your very stupid comments you also mentioned the "behind closed doors" fatuosity. You are a shill for the homo agenda and that must be why you registered on FR. I'm going to be watching you.

And as far as your comment above, why the hell shouldn't an employer be allowed to have rules about what employees can wear? I supposed you're in favor of the "Naked Guy" in UC Berkely, too.

Right on.

We used to have institutions for these sad people where psychiatrists tried to help them.

Now the psychiatrists encourage it.

Something has to happen soon, we cannot continue down this path as a nation.

That 9th Circuit Court decision stood because Governor Davis deep sixed it. He sent it to arbitration rather than submit it to the Supreme Court on appeal. It was his duty to see the will of the people was not subverted, but he's never been concerned with the will of the people.

No not really. I was just making a point that many of the things we conservatives today think and find acceptable were the very same things that caused our parent's concern.

I used the example of how foul language is now almost entirely aceeptable in our society. Where just a few short years ago it was not so.

What do we think when we see the old clips of Elvis gyrating around? I don't know about you but I find the outrage of the time to be silly. But was it?

And so it goes...

My language goes over the top at times. There are some issues that are so disgusting and repugnant, that normal language doesn't begin to express the outrage it warrants. Should I use that language on the forum? No. Should our state government pass policies so insane that I should feel compelled to respond with language like that? No.

Once transgender status is protected, public schools can't descriminate against them when hiring. What this means is that our K-12 students WILL soon be exposed to something that even adults have cringed at for all of eternity.

The question, "How much lower can our civilization go without imploding?", is a serious one. Deviancy is now the law of the land. We're in a death-spiral as a nation.

With so much promise, we have now devolved to this.

I don't disagree that we are in a death-spiral.

The problem I have is how do we go about getting ourselves, our country moving in a better direction?

The only answers I have come up with to this question are..

1.)Vote
2.)Lead by example

Do you have answers that you would have me consider?
