Right now, on C-Span, I'm watching 'Democrats for Recall' protest signs.
There maybe no better time...

He's too principled to be elected in CA.

While I believe Jim would make an excellent Gov., my question is... "do either of you understand how the recall election works, and that Jim would be taking votes away from the main Republican candidate?"

Gee, if I had posted a thread such as this it would be fried or moved to chat in a heartbeat. I'm not meaning to denigrate the poster here, I just want to see if the Moderator has a different set of rules for those who post vanities with JimRob's name in them.

Yes, I did - and I hope the GOP did too!
When he said he got 103,000 more votes than Gray Davis in the last election - I was stunned!!

Cally needs someone to take over. I'll do it. On the following grounds: I get to govern the state from here on the East Coast. I dont ever have to step in the state of Caliifornia (with todays techonlogy, this is possible)
My salary is 25 50 million a year. (with a generous pension plan)
No one can vote me out. I will leave office when I am damn good and ready.
My pick of Hollywoods hottest young starlets will serve as my, ahem, interns.

First thing any new gov should do is demand a 10-15% reduction is expenses. Such cuts to be defined and enacted in 30 days. Across the board. No exceptions. Layoffs as necessary! End of friggin discussion!
That will be all. Back to work people.
Oh, and line items not making the deadline will be immediately eliminated!
Buh-bye.
