OBERLIN, Ohio -- A group of parents said they will fight a possible decision to allow a white teacher to lead classes in black history at Oberlin High School.

NewsChannel5 reported that the parents said using a white teacher would send the wrong message to black students.

A scheduling conflict could cause the district to reassign the black teacher who has taught the course for seven years.

The parents have protested the move to the school board, but the district's superintendent has not commented on the case.

In my opinion, there are only three realistic options to ensure your child receives a good education. They are:

1. Homeschool
2. A good private school
3. A combination of homeschooling/private school

I heard on of OJ's black attorney friends say no whites should be on Kobe Bryant's jury or any black defendant's jury.

Can we then allow any blacks on a jury that tries a white?

Reminds me of a story where a YWCA hired the most qualified candidate for an office job. Turns out they accidentaly hired a man. Then they could not fire him because they would be fireing him for just his gender.

Does this school have a white history class. (note: I say sarcastically) One class to give the caucasian students pride in their ancestors. No way no how. Positive white immages are not allowed or even budgeted. Negative images of white people are encourage even mandated.

A similar thing happened to me. I volunteered for four years in New Haven, CT teaching tennis to inner-city kids. The fifth year I was not invited back. I found out later that they only wanted minority coaches even though about ten percent of the kids were white. The program fell apart two years later.

Oberlin is the home of Oberlin College, and has been the home of Ohio liberalism for over a hundred and fifty years. Oberlin prides itself on their role in the Underground Railroad, and this kind of attention to "diversity" is very typical of the community.

These guilt-ridden liberals tend to ignore the sacrifice of thousands of white Ohioans in the war that ended slavery as they wear the perpetual hairshit of the "White Racist Oppressors", in order that they may perceive one another as being more enlightened than the rest of us.

Don't hold your breath..... The education system in this country can not be saved. It started down the tubes in the late 60s and has gone from bad to worse.
