OBERLIN, Ohio -- A group of parents said they will fight a possible decision to allow a white teacher to lead classes in black history at Oberlin High School.

NewsChannel5 reported that the parents said using a white teacher would send the wrong message to black students.

A scheduling conflict could cause the district to reassign the black teacher who has taught the course for seven years.

The parents have protested the move to the school board, but the district's superintendent has not commented on the case.

This is interesting, because blacks tend to believe that there is need to teach black history because the rest of history is "white." if this is the case, is it inappropriate to have a black teacher teach "white" history?

I take it this is a public school.

In my opinion, there are only three realistic options to ensure your child receives a good education. They are:

1. Homeschool
2. A good private school
3. A combination of homeschooling/private school

If the school district is wise they will find a conservative black "black history" teacher who will REALLY teach the kids a thing or two! The whole idea of the class (on the part of the leftists who designed it) was to indoctrinate black students in socialist thought. What could these racists say if their students were challenged to abandon Marxism by "one of their own"?!

I heard on of OJ's black attorney friends say no whites should be on Kobe Bryant's jury or any black defendant's jury.

Can we then allow any blacks on a jury that tries a white?

Can a black supervisor instruct and supervise white employees?

Can we allow blacks to vote in a white against white election?

Somebody is itching for a lot of consumer backlash against black businesses (which are not 12%), sub-contracting, and temporary help employees.

Reminds me of a story where a YWCA hired the most qualified candidate for an office job. Turns out they accidentaly hired a man. Then they could not fire him because they would be fireing him for just his gender.

Does this school have a white history class. (note: I say sarcastically) One class to give the caucasian students pride in their ancestors. No way no how. Positive white immages are not allowed or even budgeted. Negative images of white people are encourage even mandated.
