Is it really that hard to understand why Americans are not on friendly terms with Islam?
There is a difference between an image problem and a truth problem. They are in serious denial.

I was thinking about this - what a PR nightmare islam now has. Does anyone think that all the recent violence has converted one new person to islam in the first world? Doubtful.
9/11, Palestinian homicide bombings, Bali, Russia (theater) - these muslims sure do like to kill people! And for their own damn selves, too - wanna bag me some virgins in heaven. Not to mention the CAIR whining. Religion of Peace my arse.

much more disinclined to vote for a Muslim for U.S. president
Well, no shiite. Go ahead, and find out how much "separation of church and state" you get then.
