Interesting to read. Good to have on hand so that when one of your Democrat friends repeats the DemoRAT talking points about this being a 'right-wing-coup' that you point out that even a lot of Democrats recognize that Davis is a DISASTER!

Thanks for posting this. Now we will see what happens to disloyal democrats who break ranks. Terry McCauliffe (sp?) will pounce soon, and we'll be treated to the spectacle of democrats eating their own.

Snicker.

Yeah well if McAullife pounces I hope Bock pounces back. The Democrat Party's decision to rally around Davis is a pact with the devil and I think that the party bigwigs who decided to try and "save Davis" deserve to have one big, nasty, ugly foodfight and be exposed for the whores they are.

These people put Gray Davis' interests ahead of this state. That is far worse than the accusations Demoncrats made against Bush who fought for the nation's interest.

Go Audie Go - kick their @sses and let the foodfight begin!

I heard her at the rally and she had a better message then an all the Repubs (with the exception of McClintock) combined. And with Bock on the ballot, Airheadianna Huffington can't claim she needs to run so there's a woman in the race.

OOOooohhhh - I hadn't thought about the "we need a woman" blather from the likes of Arianna. I do wish though to see an Arianna-Bock debate. That would be fun.

But, I don't think we'll ever see it - I think Mike Huffington's $3,500 initial filing stunt was a very public warning shot to Arianna.

"Hey you witch (with a "b") - you run and I'll humiliate you more than you ever did to me."

For five years the people of California have been suffering through the failures of a callous governor whose only interest is the amassing of his own campaign millions.

This is a brilliant political strategy for the Democrats.

Blame it all on Gray Davis

Then next year when things get even worse under a right wing Republican replacement they can Blame the new Republican Governors.... never ever blame the Democratic legislature.... that could really hurt the Democrats.

In 2004, they could do a recall on the Republican who replaces Davis. No one with a brain could believe that even a significant portion the terrible situation in California is the fault of Gray Davis. It is the result of well over a quarter century of over taxing and over spending. Democrats need for a single out of control Democratic governor to take the blame for them.

As things get even worse in 2004, as they certainly will, the Democrats can blame the worsening situation on new the Republican Governor ... then recall him. After all if the current situation is the fault of Gray Davis, when the situation worsens it will be his Republican successor's fault.

In the last election the Democrats won every state wide office. If they can just blame this situation on Davis and the worsening situation yet to come on his Republican successor, the Democrats can win an overwhelming California victory in 2004.

California is going down the tubes. And Republicans can't wait to take the blame for it. The Democrats should time it so they come back into power just as things start to improve again. They can pull a Bill Clinton and come back into power just as things start to come back up. If that Democrat can his or her pants or panties on... they can fix it so Democrats have a 12 to 20 year reign of power.

California is the Titanic after it hit the iceberg but before it sunk. Republicans are going to fight over who gets to be Captain as the ship goes down.

Any Republican with a Democrat wife knows it it is time to RUN FOR THE LIFE BOAT... not the command post on the bridge.

If Republicans are lucky Davis will win the Recall and he can then share the blame with his fellow Democrats in the State Legislature.

The Dems are waiting to see if Arnold jumps in..if he decides NO, as seems likely, then they'll meet in a smioke-filled room, cut the crads, and settle on one candidate, while telling Davis 15 minute before so that he can resign....this way, no one is the "heavy"..who broke ranks, and the Dem can run in the recall against the GOP

WOW, a DEMOCRAT pointing ou that Davis has ruined the state's energy future?

Bock must be one of the few reasoning Democrats left. Or he plans to run for governor.

I hear Davis is gonna sign legislation to allow illegals to get driver's licenses in order to get their (illegal) votes.

Davis's attack dogs are already dredging up Arnold's alleged philandering (I don't know the man)

Supposedly, this will spoil any chance of his entering the race. I can't figure out how : how many votes did the Rapist in Chief get in CA?

At any rate, inexperienced or not, Arnold can't be any less qualified to run than Davis. His popularity MIGHT even enable him to influence the rabidly leftist legislature. Let's face it : even with Davis gone, the legislature will still be there mucking things up. Also, he apparently has a very good head for business.

Then again, if he decides not to run, I hope he'll stump for the Republican candidate that DOES run. Like McClintock, or even Riordan.

The "rumors" about Arnold were not just about marital infidelities....there is always the steroid story..whether or not he used the drug....if you look at his pics when he first cam to California, and the a year or so after that, the muscle build up is amazing in such a short time......also, there have been consistent stories that he starred in a few gay movies back when he was struggling and trying to make a buck....

I've never really believed the steroid stories. As men get older, they get bulkier and not just due to fat. It's the changes in the various levels of male hormones. Like I said, I don't know him but do know a bit about physiology as well as body building. Lou Farrigno was also accused of taking steroids. I believe Sylvestor Stallone was too. ANY man in Hollywood who's into bodybuilding seems to be accused of taking steroids.

As for the gay movie rumor....never heard that one, but it ought to lock the gay vote right? He was a body building champion before he got into acting. As such, he already had a ready market. Therefore, I take that rumor with a box of salt. The only movie I saw from his days as a struggling actor was Good Guys Wear White Hats. It was a spoof and VERY funny...except that Arnie's accent was too thick to understand most of his dialogue.

If any of this stuff is true, the Democrat party would be trying to recruit him. They aren't.

Davis' smear machine plays hardball...that's what he's worried about..I'm not being judgemental....just reporting what could happen..

It's not gay..it's gay porn..big difference...he could never get his message out, if there was a film extant...re physiology..I was only repeating what I'd read.....and again, it would cloud the campaign....."Hey Ah-nold..what ELSE isn't real???"...Politics is a blood sport..Davis is a great white..

The biggest problem the author of the article has with Davis is that he didn't spend enough money and that he is too close to "Big Corporations". With such a good root cause analysis, how can she miss being a good governor? /sarcasm.

"Gray Davis’s viciousness toward those who cross him is legend. Every qualified Democrat who is a current office holder has backed down in the face of his threats. But the Democratic Party cannot afford to be complacent in this crisis of confidence."

My favorite part about what she says. The whole stinking lot of them SUCKS EGGS!
