--WHO AM I?
--1. I was born September 21, 1947, in Portland, Maine.
--2. I graduated from the University of Maine in 1970 with a degree in English; in the fall of 1971, I began teaching at a high school called Hampden Academy.
--3. After my first two attempts at a novel were rejected, I
became frustrated and reportedly threw away my next manuscript, which became a bestseller and a hit 1976 movie.
--4. I published a good deal of work under the pseudonym Richard Bachman, which I used from 1977 to 1984.
--5. All together, I have sold well over 100 million copies
of my books worldwide and have become the richest writer of all time.

And we have a winner to the WHO AM I
POP QUIZ!!
The GODDESS!!!
--Answer to "WHO AM I?"
Stephen King. He wrote his first short story at the age of seven, and was a devoted fan of 1950s horror movies. King followed up on the success of Carrie with an astonishing run of bestselling short stories and novels. Kings own name became synonymous with blockbuster novels blending horror, fantasy, and science fiction into a consistently creepy mix. He soon earned the title "King of Horror" for his continuing mastery of the macabre. He consistently ranks among America's highest-paid entertainers, according to Forbes magazine.
Some of his bestselling novels include "Salem's Lot", "The Stand", "The Dead Zone", "Pet Sematary", "Needful Things", "Gerald's Game", "Needful Things", "Gerald's Game", and the "Dark Tower" series.

Hello, Dear!
Operation Homestead is proceeding beyond my wildest imagination. The hardwood floors all look like bronze, thanks to three coats of polyurethane. The kitchen has The Missus's stuff and gadgets all mounted in their places. The family's gargoyle collection occupies nooks all over the place, watching over us day and night.
The two cats haven't been brought over yet, but once the floor vents are replaced (three years of vacant standing have left their toll), they'll be moved in, too.
And yes, the drywall's back in its place, and I had to bum some Demoral, but I feel muu-uu-uu-ch better...
