Cool travelogue pictures today, Jinxie. I used to do some "chasing" with a friend and one day got to go on a short ride. WOW!! So quiet and you can see forever.

Being under one of those slurry tankers is loud, spooky because it's so low, and very sticky (it was in the old days, anyway) if the slurry gets on you. Sounds like a wonderful trip, albeit kinda HOT!

I only read one of his books. I hated it, but refused to not finish it. I don't even remember the title. Something about a cat that wouldn't stay buried.

I don't know the book title you are mentioning. I stopped reading his work and moved on to something else. I call that my "Dark Period" of reading just got sick of the same stuff.
