I truly regret reading that thread. But thanks, Linda, it needed to be seen.
I'm glad I write better than King, anyway...

Thanks for the offer of coffee, beach. BUT, I don't like coffee. Hot chocolate is my hot drink of choice.

Guess more than one FReeper is ripped at him!!
I have not read a thing of his in years, I think the last book was Misery.

I think the last book was Misery. Well, now, I've experienced many emotions reading King, but that wasn't one of them...

Hmmm...Broad shoulders, brawny forearms, tools...and click him...he does custom kitchens, too! Sounds like just the ticket to me!

For once, a barnburner that's not a sports cliche: Firefighter Matt Degner of the Park River, N.D., Fire Department watches the flames during a controlled burn to destroy an abandoned barn. The fire took just six minutes.

"Suddenly"
Nice poem and graphics!
Thanks!

Cool travelogue pictures today, Jinxie. I used to do some "chasing" with a friend and one day got to go on a short ride. WOW!! So quiet and you can see forever.
Being under one of those slurry tankers is loud, spooky because it's so low, and very sticky (it was in the old days, anyway) if the slurry gets on you. Sounds like a wonderful trip, albeit kinda HOT!

I only read one of his books. I hated it, but refused to not finish it. I don't even remember the title. Something about a cat that wouldn't stay buried.

I did it, mom!: Michelle Fisher of Auburn Hills, Mich., left, talks to her mother on a cell phone after giving a surprise smooch to an embarrassed Tiger Woods, sitting, during a tournament pro-am in Grand Blanc, Mich. Fisher got Woods to pose for a picture with her and then gave him an embrace and kiss.

My computer has been acting weird tonight.
If I'm not mistaken you are taking a trip soon?
Have a safe one Brother.
You will be missed no matter how short or long it might be.

Have you dumped your cache lately? Not lately, but I will tonight on all my machines; here at work, and home too.

I don't know the book title you are mentioning. I stopped reading his work and moved on to something else. I call that my "Dark Period" of reading just got sick of the same stuff.
