I don't know, I'd rather have the cash.

What is needed is a young lady or several young ladies to come forward and state that Kobe made sexual advances, was rejected, and then became aggressive, intimidating, or violent

Stop and think for a minute. Do you think these 'young ladies' would be well treated? or do you think they'll be called sluts and worse. Be honest. Would you let your daughter go through that?

"I guess the larger question then is do you think that his wife would support him during this trial even if she knows he is guilty?"

If he gets off, his career earnings will be greater than if he is convicted.

Even if she hates his guts, she stands to benefit if he gets off.

Isn't 12:40 AM on July 3rd a very strange time to be making a 911 call? When did Bryant get back to LA from Colorado?

I really don't see how we can speculate as to what the content of the call is. 911 service is available 24/7 because emergencies happen around the clock. Want a sinister scenario? Bryant gets home at whatever time, and breaks the news to his wife. She is (one would assume) hurt and upset, and perhaps they argue. You can take it anywhere you want to from there -- a screaming match that ends with Bryant punching his wife, that leads to her calling 911; the wife becoming so upset an hysterical that Bryant worries she's going to hurt herself, and that</b leads to the 911 call. They have an argument, and finally go to bed. The wife wakes up in the middle of the night, and that's<.b> when the bad news really sinks in and she gets angry and/or goes into despair.

Or it could be completely unrelated. It really could. Accidents happen, and so do coincidences. Until or unless someone who was there comes forward with an account of what happened that led up to the 911 call, we don't know why it was made. And if it's not relevant to the case, we may never know.

Wow - good catch. That article is positively spooky in light of what has happened since.

Weird.

I would be curious which side of the fence these women would come out on.

If I thought he had harmed my daughter, I assure you I would find some creative way of expressing my displeasure...I would probably tell my daughter to come forth only if she were absolutely sure of what she was saying and I would hope that others would stand with her...I would think that for a young girl making an allegation like this in circumstances like this, the feeling of isolation as though no one else can understand or empathize regarding your situation would be very hard to handle....

True...In other words, she would be like many women who believe that is the wife, he is her responsibility....It is her job to support him, her job to love him, and her job to make him pay...

Mrs. Bryant has no down side her except for the unwanted attention...Financially, she is forever in the driver's seat...

Unsupported Conspiracy Theory Alert!!!
Hope she didn't set this thing up (My husband will be in Colorado on Tuesday...Please smile at him...Let him know that you appreciate him for his talent...Offer to show him the garden...He likes flowers...If he invites you to come to his room...Gently press against his arm and look up into his eyes as though you are amazed by his features...)

John Wayne Bobbitt...She was either Latina or Oriental...I do remember that story...Never go to sleep after you have mistreated a woman....You will wake up a completely different person...:-)
