Lula's success in eliminating hunger and malnutrition in Brazil will depend primarily on the success of his economic model, not on anti-hunger programs...Brazil produces plenty of food and large food export industry. Brazil's fundamental problem is poverty and Lula wants you to pay for it!

I would like to extend an invitation to all who support this measure to come to my place for a visit.
Body armor is optional and not required but is suggested.

I hope they try it.
It'd be really fun to see our politicians get 30, 40, 50 million or so letters demanding that the US irrevocably disassociate itself from the UN.

Also Tuesday, the House overwhelmingly voted down a proposal to end U.S. contributions to the United Nations and its affiliated agencies.
Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, offered the measure as an amendment to H.R. 1950, the bill to authorize appropriations for the State Department for the next two fiscal years.
The amendment failed by a vote of 74 to 350, with only two Democrats supporting it.
Paul recently sponsored the American Sovereignty Restoration Act (H.R. 1146) to end U.S. membership in the United Nations.

The U.N. has been floating many ideas for future funding.
There are as many ideas as idiots.
Patiently waiting for U.N. to either change their rules for qualification on the Secretary General or for Slick to change his residency in order to be the Secretary General of the New U.N.........................

I don't give a damn what the UN proposes -- they'll have to kill me to take my guns.

Why doesn't the UN get the guns out of Liberia, Somalia and other hell holes? Wouldn't it make sense to try there first before imposing a "World Wide Ban"? (as if...)

ALL FRENCHMEN SHOULD BE TAXED FOR HAVING THE WORLD DEFEND THEM...... I agree with your statement, but the principle of taxing according to benefits received left us a long time ago. :)

Horrible, horrible nightmare....the hellb*tch hitlery gets the presidency, her first clown gets a major U.N. role...which will make anything going on at the moment child's play with regard to disarming us all and worse. Gives me chills.

We've seen how much we have listened to Chirac and the UN recently. It is time to pull the plug and build new World Trade Towers where the UN currently stands.
