As long as I don't have to see him in one of these.

Since when did it become necessary for one to serve in the Armed Forces of the US or have the DemocRATS forgotten that their hero Bill Clinton did not serve

At the same time that W didn't have enough experience to be President, despite his years as governor of Texas, yet Hillary's lack of experience is never challenged.

Oh PLEESE rats! All of the nasty things they say about republicans and no one can say anything remotely true about them without being called mean spirited! The democrats are the nastiest, meanest bunch of critters on earth these days ranking second only to the terrorists. SAY THAT to them Mr. Delay, and don't even think about apologizing!

"tasteless and unnecessary smear of Senator Kennedy."

I was not aware this was a possible offense.

Politics of personal destruction????

The Demokrats INVENTED that..with their daily bashing of President Bush and American troops.

Kennedy in a flight suit....kinda scary, but he would have trouble keeping the zipper closed and keeping his pants on.

Like a previous poster, I don't think Kennedy should be behind ANY wheel!!

"It only keeps this image in the minds of the American people.......and thus helps the reelection campaign of Commander in Chief, George W. Bush......."

Yes indeed, and let us never forget the images of our Commander-in-Chief spending 20 seconds greeting the skipper of the boat and other brass and then spending about forty five minutes on deck with the drivers and the troops. It was unbelievable - it was real and if the RNC doesn't play the tape and the scenes over and over to remind the American people of just how fortunate they are to have such a leader, then they haven't a clue. My only complaint is that Dubya should have trapped in an F-18 instead of a Hoover. Maybe next time, say in the middle of October, aught [archaic] four. That would be the oaken stake through Puff Daschle's little black heart.

ER...GOPHER, why are you yelling at ME. (Sniff) I'm sensitive you know. LOL

I merely replied LOL to Joe6ack when he said, "His career as an Ordnance officer was cut short when, tragically, during the Vietnam Era, he was selected to test Buick's submission for the submersible riverine watercraft contract."

Absolutely unbelievable!

And what was most remarkable to me was that, not only was the Commander in Chief comfortable enough to spend time with, pose for pictures, and put his arms around the troops, but THEY felt totally comfortable with him, and put their arms around the leader of the free world!

An amazing moment in time!

C-5B is the only thing that can get his fat ass off the ground, and there is no way a C-5B could land on a carrier!

Now hold on just a minute there - all you people fatmouthing the Chappaquiddick Scuba Driver, as if he never served in the armed services. Do you think it was just a coincidence that he got out of his Oldsmobile in fifteen feet of water in Hillary, I mean Dyke Creek? He had plenty of training in escaping from submerged Oldsmobiles, I'm here to tell you. See, when a carrier comes out of heavy shop maintenance, before it deploys, they have to test the catapults. You guessed it, a full size Oldsmobile with the Chappaquidick Scuba Driver in the left seat grossed out [double entendre] at about the same weight as an A-4 Skyhawk with internal fuel and no underwing stores. So, for several years before the unfortunate incident at the Hilary Bridge, the Scuba Driver had been serving his country as dead weight for catapult tests on many carriers. But the man is so humble, so selfless and so patriotic that he has never mentioned these years of [somewhat hazardous] service to the US Navy. Even during the Roger Mudddd interview, when the mere mention of his heroic deeds would have obliterated Mudd's nasty insinuations concerning what may or may not have occurred at Hilary Bridge, the Senator from Chappaquiddick remained silent. He assuaged his pain with long hot showers in the wee hours of the morning with his very close friends in the Massachussetts delegation, Barnadine F. and Geraldine S. [BTW, is Geraldine still alive?]

Delay's spokesman said and it bears repeating:

"The Democratic party has a lot to answer for in terms of their decimating our intelligence and not being there for our military and our national defense," he said.

"The military veterans in Congress, he said, don't have exclusive rights to opinions on national security."
