A. Yes, the Secret Service. Many of the agents we studied were accurate 80 percent of the time in distinguishing lying from truthfulness. They would be right more than 80 percent if they had just said "lying" all the time with this vile pair:

I'm solid at recognizing when someone's lying to me,but I never thought you could effectively tell a fake smile from a real one.I really have to check into that one.
