Thank you, Colleen. I didn't expect to see you today, so this is a pleasant surprise. Pretty field of bluebonnets. :) I learned that there is a new 'maroon' bluebonnet out now. It's blended in that very first photo in the opening, with the Capitol, but I didn't save the photo that shows the colors better.

I didn't know you were a Waco resident, Valerie - no wonder you've done so many Crawford, Texas photos, etc. (I had it in my mind you were a Houstonite!)

The only thing I remember about Waco is a First Christian Church and the country club - a wedding and reception we attended several years ago. :)

Unfortunately no. I was staffing an exhibit the whole time. Last year we had seven people, this year three. I was lucky to get "relief" breaks. I did get a few pictures that I'll try to get up tomorrow. (Nothing too good I must warn you.)

Greetings from beautiful northern Michigan. We're having a great time (Gizmo too...Codee and FredtheCat are "holding down the fort" at home) but miss you all. This is my first crack at a computer (my very liberal college professor BIL's...hope it doesn't rub off LOL!)

Billie...absolutely beautiful presentation today...and you make a great "tourguide". Another state to add to my list to visit!
