Sugar Land Ping!We must be neighbors, I've been here 18 years and my wife was born in Sugar Land.

No problem...I just didn't want such a great Texas champion to go unrecognized by the FINEST!!!
You did a fantastic job on the thread, sweetie!

Fannin County Courthouse.
The decorative clocks and decorative pieces on this building have been removed.
My maternal greatgrandparents were married in Fannin County in 1888. They later moved to Oklahoma where my grandmother was born.
After my Greatgrandmother's death, the family moved to Wheeler County, Texas.

Nothing like talking about Texas to get some of the Houstonites hereHey, you know when we hear "Texas" our ears perk up. Sometimes we have to defend her, sometimes just brag.

Wheeler County Organized in 1879 is the oldest County in the Texas Panhandle.
My grandparents and my parents were married in Wheeler County.
My Mother was born in Wheeler. My Dad's parents are buried in the Wheeler Cemetery as are my Mothers Dad and her Grandfather.
As you can tell I have family either living or buried all over Texas!! LOL

Hi, Spookie - were they flying the flag when you used to travel I-10 through there? Probably started after 9/11. :)
Thanks for the nice words.

LOL!! Yeah........that's why I can only do one every two weeks. But, isn't it fun? ;-) They're all fun to me :) but I almost tackled too much in too short a time and wasn't sure yesterday whether or not to put it off until another time. (Why it was so late this morning - I was still putting it together!) LOL
