Reality Check by the homosexual lobby Ping. (As usual, if you would like to be added to or removed from my "conservative Catholics" ping list, just send me a FReepmail. Please realize that some of my "ping" posts are long.)

These words should sober any conservative:
The fight over same-sex marriage may seem like a moment of truth for gay rights, but it's bigger than even that. We are moving toward a decisive juncture in the culture wars, with queersthose consummate creatures of modernismdirectly in the line of fire.
They are preparing for a decisive political battle, and so therefore so must we.
Excellent post.

Homosexuals have successfully depicted themselves as victims, which has gained them tolerance from most people, including many who don't really approve of their life style. But it's hard to depict yourself as a victim when you are riding high, dominating politics, and shoving supreme court decisions down people's throats or imposing homosexual values on people's kids in school.
Most Freepers could see this coming, but the rest of the country is just beginning to wake up to it, and they don't like what they see.
Probably the gay lobby can still push more stuff through while the momentum is on their side. But as this article suggests, there will be a backlash at some point. And the probable percentage of gays in the population is only about 5%, with maybe another 25% sympathetic to their cause for various political reasons--for instance, those willing to support gays in return for their support for abortion.

Any movement within a larger society can become so successful that it changes the society at large. I think even the most rabid gays would admit that there is a maximum societal percentage of gays. After all, if everyone is gay, the society's lifetime is very limited, not to mention that there is no one else to convert. I wonder what they think that percentage is--10%, 20%, 50%, 90%?

In May, 80 percent of liberals favored gay civil unions, if not full-blown marriage Icky choice of words.

They have not suffered nowhere near what blacks did. Not even close.

Yep me neither. I don't watch much TV anyways at least as sitcoms go. The last sitcom on the broadcast channels that I watched regularly was The Cosby Show when I was kid. There just isn't much on good.

Let the forces of evil bring it on. We win either way: either Judeo-Christian values will dominate, in which case it's time to clean house culturally, or else the pagan/hedonist/modern paradigm will triumph -- in which case the Church will once again become a persecuted (and, therefore, an immensely powerful) institution. Pagan Rome was consumed by the fire from the catacombs; the new pagans will fare no better.
These poor, lost people don't realize they've already been defeated. Our Master rules the Universe; theirs is a jealous loser whose power was broken at Calvary. Any setback we endure is temporary at best, but if they fail to replace our traditional culture with their own, it's over for them; the backlash will drive them all back into the closet to stay. History proves our invincibility: every man, empire, or philosophy that has tried to replace or destroy the Christian faith has in time disappeared -- but Rome remains, the Church is still here, and with us all our separated brethren East and West, and those outside the Faith who recognize the Natural Law.
So let them do their worst! The gates of Hell itself cannot prevail against us. I'm not worried about what The Village Voice might do.

I used to watch Seinfeld in the early 90s and I watched King of the Hill occasionally. I am pretty out of touch with TV shows.

You are correct when you allude to the 'Axis of Evil' within our own house. Face it a substantial per centage of Americans are objectively servants of the evil and the depraved. It doesn't matter if they are 'nice people' their choices serve the cause of the destruction of the societal structure of the nation hence they are objectively evil.
One question is how far will the establishment repulicrats oppose the domestic axis of evil. As long as the polls show it could garner votes is my guess and even then many wil run squaling from the fight as they are terrified at some queer, illegal alien, or feminazi calling them evil on tv.
This is just one more battle in a war that will both determine our culture and whether the US ends up becoming a Turd World country. Eventally it is my guess that at some point these decision will be determined with blood and iron and not ballots.

I don't know. Our family does not have TV.

I, for one, will attempt to take back the English language.
I will no longer refer to queers as gay but homos.
If they can call me a homophobe which by the way makes no sense in Latin then they must be homos.

One world order. That's why you have Ginsburgh and Breyer chirping about foreign courts.
