Oh, contraire! I think he's a VERY pretty face. Fortunately, he also has brains, wisdom and heart behind that face. He makes it a delight to watch the news while listening to it at the same time. And my husband likes his sense of humor. He's the best journalist there is out there today.

Well, he's not a pretty-boy, he's what I call ruggedly handsome - and all the rest of what you said. Brit is the best. I'm concerned about his ratings, too - he was pulling a solid 1.6 for quite a while.

I agree about the "pretty face." I was using another poster's language to emphasize his looks. You've got them pegged: ruggedly handsome. He was on vacation for awhile and his show suffered while he was away. Could that be the reason why his ratings are down?

There are times, too, when I don't make it home by 6:00 when his show is on. I'm always conscious of that because we're a Nielson family... But I still prefer the 6:00 time slot.

If not for Brit I would not be watching FNC at all. I don't like fires and car chases all that much!!!

I agree!

I'd be watching FNC less if not for Brit Hume and just get all my news on the net. I love the way Brit makes Juan Williams and Mara Liason look like the fools that they are, no matter how hard they try they just can't hide their hatred for GWB and Brit usually fires right back at them. I also wonder if FNC would be where it is now if not for Brit.

It could be the fact that he was on vacation - also, it's summertime, and I was noticing that the overall ratings were down on everybody.

We're out here on the Left Coast, so we tape him when he's on at 3:00 our time, and watch him after dinner.

The problem with these ratings is that it doesn't show the time slots for each show. I would like to see the comparable show to Brit on CNN or MSNBC...... LKL is on at 6 on CNN So Brit beats LK...hmmmm...very nice. Fox Rox!

I agree. I like his voice and presentation but lately he is just so partisian I can't stand him at all.

He is now tied with Scrborough who is up .2 from last place a while back. I hope he improves enough to stay on the air. He is my current favorite.

Funny how the networks appear on this chart.
