If you need further assurance I've got many more insults and criticisms at my disposal. :-)I have no doubt of that. In fact, you have so many available that I have to believe you stay up nights thinking them up!

The water can be very scary to someone who hasn't had any experience with it.
I remember being hostess to a teenager from the midwest who had never seen the ocean before when I lived in FL. She actually got a case of vertigo when she went to the beach. The "hugeness" was overwhelming! LOL!!
Thank you for sharing your "escapades" with us. Glad you had a great time!

How much does it go for? Want to start a bidding war? Typically, they go for ~$70-90 plus shipping on eBay. And I already did start a bidding war today, and lost in the last minute ! :O(
But, there are a LOT of those puppies on sale on eBay, so it's just another shot tomorrow for me ! I'll have one on the way after one of those auctions closes ! :O)

Many of those women lived to very old ages, despite the challenges and tough routines they endured. If lighthouses are your sort of deal, that book is a must.((((((((shaggy eel)))))))!!!
Visitng from the "Land Down Under"! It has been *at least* an eternity since last we spoke - LOL!! Welcome back!
Thank you for the recommendation. I'll have to look into finding a copy of that book.
Don't be such a stranger, y'hear?

Ah, he arrives, saying:
"You are All That And A Tic Tac, my pupil-less one." Now that you mention it, Martini the Great, that statement dashed my hope of ever, ever being declared your *star pupil* -
sighing in SC . . .
Oh, woe is me . . . .

Yep, I overcame my swimming 'fears' at a VERY young age.
I think I could swim better than I could walk at the time, lol !

Yikes, Meekie! Could it be that that particular thermometer is out in the full sun???
We have been blessed so far this summer. Only a handful of days over 90 degrees. Normally, by this time, we would have had a couple dozen days over 90 and one or two topping 100.
