Nice photo, but how do we know it just isn't a photo of urban training somewhere?Well, gee. Considering this is nothing but a blood for oil fiasco taking place in the Nevada dessert somewhere, I agree. This stuff never happened.

Man, the house looks awfully close. Hope those boys remembered what the minimum arming distance is for the TOW warhead.

Looks like one of those seedy neighborhoods around Phoenix airport.
You're right...looks like the neighborhood where Crazy Steve has his shrimp processing plant!

The guy who owned it was a RELATIVE OF SADDAM'S; a cousin or uncle I think. That should account for it.

That itty-bitty missile doesn't look like all that big a deal. What happens when it hits the house?I'll put it this way: That is a TOW missile. Its 24 kg warhead was designed to destroy main battle tanks. With one hit.

Nice Land Cruiser in that picture. Wonder who it belongs (belonged?) to.

That itty-bitty missile was designed to penetrate Soviet tank armor...

Newsmax is rather late on the uptake with this one. I've seen that photo in a number of places over the past couple of weeks.
There's a story going around that Uday and Qusay were taken out at close range by the original assault team, and the bombardment was just a cover...Someone told me they heard one of the Fox news analysts say this the day it happened. Can't verify that, just passing it along.

It's a TOW missle. (Tube launched, Optically tracke Wire guided). Not the best choice for buildings and bunkers as it's not HE and mainly used as an anti-vehicle/anti-tank weapon.
Most of it's effectiveness is due to the secondary explosions caused by lighting up the fuel and ammo, after it drills through armor with a concentrated blast intiated by a sensor in the head.
It will suck the inards out of any troops occupying a vehicle due to pressurization, but again, it's not the best choice for a building. It's probably not what killed them, although it's possible.

Y'all need a couple of these to control meetings. Air-Burst has always looked like fun.. I figure the steps saved
during deer hunting alone would pay for the ordnance.
