If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

We have to get him up to snuff before ANY of us are going back, though.

He is still in our daily's will be for long term even if FR ever shuts down.
Slap my mouth!
Hope he gets some relief to that sac swelling that must be horribly painful.
Much Prayer Lil Termite.
Also if anyone out there knows where I can find a used O2 monitor for a child in Idaho whose family does not have funds but can afford a used one.

I pray that our Lord, God, in his infinite wisdom, will carry this little guy to his destiny. If that destiny is among us all, we are truly blessed. We all know, the lord has blessed us with his presence,
"not for nothing"
as we say in New England.
Logan, please be with us a long happy time.

how's YOUR little one doing???Sara Grace is doing really well. I saw her and held her and loved her just last week!! She is so alert and talkative....her muscle tone and control is so good. She's gaining weight but a little slower than the docs would like. She's just under 10 pounds....will be 7 months old on January 6 (hard to believe). Course, her Mom is a small girl...only about 5'1" and her Dad is probably only about 5'6"...so Sara Grace probably won't play for the NWBA. You never know, though, she might be a firecracker little guard! :-)

Prayers for Logan. Hope the Dr. visit is very good. How's he doing anyway? How was his Christmas? Bet he was so cute with all the presents and stuff. Would love to see another photo. Bet we will all see a huge difference. What a tough year that was huh? Gosh..one step forward two steps back. Wow...it was tough for all of us. Can't begin to imagine how it was for you all. Anyway, prayer brought him through along with the love of his family.
Keep us posted now and then so we can follow his progress and watch him grow like all parents (freepers) like to do. :)
Take care and Happy New Year!!!!
To: Brad's Gramma
Prayers are "ramped" up this afternoon. Please God hear this prayer.
Please protect our little Logan and guide the medical staff in charge of him. Please return him to his mother's loving care quickly , and please make him better.

PLEASE PRAY
Hey everyone. I don't normally ask this of people I don't really know well. However, I have been reading this thread and praying for quite a while...and I would like to add a prayer request for myself to the thread, if I could. I was recently diagnosed with a fairly rare brain malformation called a Chiari Malformation (I). It causes headaches, dizziness, numbness, memory loss...(in extreme cases it could lead to paralysis) all kinds of nice symptoms. The only treatment is surgery, so I'm pretty nervous about it.
Please pray for wisdom for my family and I as we search for the right doctors (only about 3500 surgeries of this type/year, so not many are REAL experts.) Also, I'd just love it if I were HEALED instead of having to endure this! Thank you all.

Praying for you and your family that God will guide you to find just the right doctors to be the agents of your healing. May He strengthen and bless you and surround you with His providential care that all will be well with you. May He guide you into all comfort mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

To: I'm ALL Right!
IAR, I missed your post earlier.
Of course, I'll pray for you, and I'll post a link to Logan's Miracle Room thread.
Dear Lord, we pray for our beloved freeper who has a brain malformation.
We pray that you heal her, dear Lord, and cause her symptoms to cease. We pray for complete healing of this malady of her brain.
If that is not your will, gracious Father, please guide the doctors and nurses who will treat this condition.
Give them the knowledge and the compassion to cure our fellow Christian.
We pray in Jesus name, Amen.
To: I'm ALL Right!
Prayers for your healing.
To: I'm ALL Right!
Prayers for your healing. May the spirit of the Lord overtake your body, and heal all infirmities.
God Bless
To: I'm ALL Right!
Joining your FReeper family in prayer ...
Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the hearts that You touch for prayer. Thank You that IAR has offered prayer on behalf of others in need ... now we,O God, ask that Your healing hand would be upon her as she and her family seek the wisest of Doctors. Diminish the malformation within her brain, even as they search, that even the wisest of surgeons may be mystified at her improvement. Manifest Yourself through her, Heavenly Father, and protect her unto the day of her complete restoration to health. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

LOGAN UPDATE: Friends, I think the way to look at the results of Logan's exam today is that no bad news is good news.
The urologist examed his scrotum this afternoon and couldn't find anything in there except fluid - no tissue was involved.
He's going to be checked tomorrow by the doctor who originally did the hernia surgery when he was in NICU.
I assume this is to assure themselves that there is not an extended problem with the original surgery.
So, it's wait and see, again, folks.
Please keep the prayers rolling toward our Father in Heaven.
He will not let us down. He is the maker of miracles.
God bless you all for being here for little Logan.
