Perhaps you do not understand what a *pledged* porcupine is. I gave my word that I would do so, altering if not quite *giving up* career, friends and location dependent hobbies [and I HATE the idea that none of the viable choices were in the American South, but the numbers spoke for themselves. Someday....]

I'm not trying to insult the free staters, I'm just pointing out the frailty of human nature. You can speak for yourself, but I doubt you have 5,000 saints signed up. Not all will go along with undying devotion when a state is chosen and a date is set. Then of those truly devoted to the cause, how many would have spouses and family members who were only lukewarm who then were able to nag/persuade someone to reconsider?

5000. Great news. I was on their site just recently and they were a couple hundred away from the mark. The last stretch went fast. Hope this gets size and momentum like a snowball down a mountain side.

having been peromised work and housing there if either of them are picked.

Yeah, I'm hoping to meet some folks as well. It'll probably be a year to a year and a half by the time I can make it out there. That would make me 24 or 25, still a few years away from owning my own business or home. Hopefully I can find work and housing!!!

Is it gonna be made by the same people who obviously think Heinlein is a fascist or some such?

I hope not.....

Now lissen up, ya ape: no griping about previous movies, see? There's another outpost with a little bug problem, and they've got just the bunch of Roughnecks to take care of it. Awlright, so maybe it's not the Roughnecks, and maybe Captain Dax is no Lieutenant Rasczak. No matter, whether it's the Roughnecks, the Assassins, Hangmen, Bravo Six or any of the other Mobile Infantry outfits. Yeah, the bugs are tough to take on with nothing more than a Morita, but Dax's bunch has got some railguns, too, and other goodies. And maybe, just maybe, what they do on that dark God-forsaken bug-infested asteroid will buy enough time for the power suits to show up in the third movie. And with the suits, a man will have a fighting chance against the bugs. And seasoned troopers like Lt Rico, who looks a lot like Casper Vvan Dien might even be around to man them...but somebody will.

You got that? Now let's get out there and kill bugs, troop!

Richard Burger as *Bravo Six* Captain Dax; Collen Porch as Pvt. Lei Sahara; Brenda Strong as Sergeant Dake; Lawrence Monoson as Psi talent Lt. Dill; Ed Quinn as medic Joe griff; Kelly Carlson as Pvt Charlie Soda, Cy Carter as Pvt. Billy Otter [Otter? Hey, wasn't he in Animal House?] and Billy Brown as Pvt Brick.

Director: Phil Tipett
Exec Producer: Glenn Gainor [who's got a cameo in the movie as a recruiting center guard named *Gainor*]
and SFX supervisor Mike Lantieri, who had to have been impressed and proud when SFX legend Ray Harryhausen showed up on the set.

Just to the general film info, and a few related links. But not Kelly Carlson's nude scene. Yet.

I should beat you out there, then, depending of course on which state gets the nod. I'd hope you know that it goes without saying that if there's any way I can help you out or any info I can spot for you from on the scene, all you have to do is let me know.
