Benny Hinn is a good man. He doesn't ever ask for money at his crusades and he truly is a "healer".

When he can heal me of my dandruff and nearsightedness, I'll believe he is real.

Reminds me of a fellow who carried around a little vial of ipecac. He would tell the charlatans it was strychnine or arsenic or cyanide and dare them to drink it.

Never had a taker.

I had the exact same reaction to this guy. I sat there in utter amazement as he browbeat his audience to send him money. He was downright abusive to his potential contributors.

I am convinced that Robert Tilton and his ilk serve a vital social function in separating fools from their money. I could not possibly agree more, Physicist. Brother Bob has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the old tried and true adage of A fool and his money are soon parted. is very accurate and true. Pity there is no shortage of fools.

The fellow with the cigar was Gene Scott. He passed away several months ago. He was based in Los Angeles and you had to have a ticket in order to get into one of his "sermons". No charge for the ticket to get in. Not sure if he charged to get out.
