Company reported called Air-gas. Thick black smoke rising visible from downtown Tulsa, fire spreading to surrounding buildings......244 shut down from both directions...

You made me burst out laughing at that comment!

It is I-244 at Perioria! Massive fire -- it is being carried live on Channel 9 out of OKC. One explosions after another. This is AirGas Mid South plant is blowing up!

Very powerful explosions. Evacuating people a mile around the area.

Channel 9, OKC, has hooked into the streaming video out of Tulsa. Explosions are still going on -- they have moved emergency crews back!

Another explosion and sending shrapnel out!

Tulsa - An explosion near 3rd and Peoria has forced the evacuation of an area near downtown Tulsa.

We're told the explosion happened at about 4:30 p.m. at Air Gas & Supply.

Multiple explosions have rocked the area and the hazardous materials team has been called to the scene. It's not known exactly what caused the explosion at this time, but an evacuation order has been issued for an area one half mile in all directions.

Also closed down is Interstate 244 in both directions. EMSA has been called to the scene.

We will have more on this story when it becomes available.

If you are near a TV, Channel 9 is carrying this live out of OKC by bringing the feed from their sister station in Tulsa!
