Yes. It really is sickening to read Freeper posts that call for the mass murder of civilians or ones that applaud torture and even call for the MOAB or tactical nuking of Iraqi villages and towns. We had 3000 people killed on 9/11. And it was a big deal to us. But for most of the rest of the world- it means nothing and 3000 dead is a drop in the bucket.

"Besides the apparent lack of human rights concerns you have by calling an entire people an 'infection', I see you're pulling the AlGore/OReilly/itsforthechildren card. What do you suggest we do? Have government 'fix' automobiles so they burn the amount of gas you deem is acceptable. Lord knows anytime the government gets itself involved it just works out so well..."

I did not mention children in any portion of my posting. Secondly I did not say that it was necessary for 'the government' to fix anything. I said we--meaning the civilized West--could wean ourselves. I can go into detail if you like.

Your "arguments" boil down to putting words in the mouths of your opponents and then "refuting" things they never said.

I see you subscribe to Stalin's famous dictum that one death is a tragedy but a million deaths are a statistic.

I unabashedly support all the bad things you list. We are at war, and the gloves should come off. And yes: the murder of 3000 American innocents, including women and children, should be worth, I dunno, say 500 million dead Arabs.

Eventually they will learn that killing "a drop in the bucket" of Americans does not pay...if only because there are none of them left to do the killing.

As I keep saying, 9/11 was worse than Pearl Harbor and we eventually nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki over Pearl Harbor.

As much as I disagree with the President on our current course I am thankful that he is a decent Christian and that he would NEVER consider the sick Hitlerian course you suggest.

I guess we have to wage this war on several fronts, but I got to believe that there is clear and present danger here on our homeland.

The difference is that the Jews never flew airplanes into German office buildings, nor did they create terrorist organizations implacably hostile to Germany and dedicated to murdering as many Germans as possible.

One of your (many) problems is that you do not understand the nature of war and are in denial. As I said somewhere, when they nuke Chicago or release smallpox in Philadelphia, perhaps you will learn to think differently.

I agree totally with your premise, just a little adjustment in the choice of words!
