Democrats Blame Bush for Baghdad Bombing

Some of the Nine Dwarves are trying to spice up their foundering presidential campaigns by blaming President Bush for the deadly bombing at the U.N.'s headquarters in Baghdad.

"Had the president pursued the war on terrorism prior to initiating military action against Saddam Hussein, as I advocated last year, it is likely that al-Qaeda and other terrorist networks would not have been able to take advantage of the chaos that now exists in Baghdad and other parts of Iraq," said Sen. Bob Graham, D-Fla.

"It is becoming increasingly clear each day that the administration misread the situation on the ground in Iraq and lacks an adequate plan to win the peace and protect our troops," said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.

The bombing "should also explode the illusions of postwar progress and stability the Bush administration continues to cling to. To achieve victory and a lasting peace in Iraq, we must directly involve the United Nations and commit greater force, more resources and stronger leadership," said Sen. Joe Lieberman, D-Conn.

These and other Democrats, of course, did not blame Bill Clinton for the American troops and foreigners slaughtered in his wag-the-dog wars.

Uh huh, they would have been able to concentrate on striking in America again, you idiot.

Does this mean we can blame Bubba for the bombing of the WTC on 9/11?

We could be under Alien attack and the Rats will still blame Bush for not preventing the Alien invasion (Not the Illegal Aleins, but the other kind of Aliens).

These men are utterly disgusting. Islamic terrorists slaughter innocent people and all the Dems can do is try to play politics with it.

How does one "win the peace" ? I can see winning wars but winning peace ? How does that work exactly ?

Right, and if I had sold all of my stocks at their peak I'd be much better off today.

Graham, ignorant, lying fool that he is, talks as if Bush had abandoned the war on terrorism, which he has not. The Democratic constituencies have done everything they can to hinder the war on terrorism.

As the UN refused the heavy US Military protection offered, one wonders if these people were sacrificed to make President Bush look bad. < /tinfoil hat >

Their statements are truly pathetic and serve absolutely no purpose.

It seems every statement they make digs their graves even deeper. Unfortunately, it also emboldens our enemies; possibly burying others with them.

Idiots:

Except for the recently built concrete wall, U.N. officials at the headquarters refused heavy security because the United Nations ``did not want a large American presence outside,'' said Salim Lone, the U.N. spokesman in Baghdad.

No you nitwit. They would have been knocking on your door at your summer home in the keys asking directions to the nearest munitions dump. Graham is like wine. If you don't store him right, he goes bad and needs to be poured out.
