Now that Democrat Cruz Bustamante is California's gubernatorial recall front-runner, we can look forward to in-depth media investigations of the Latino candidate's long-held ties to the racial separatist group MEChA, right? Ha!
While Katie Couric complains about GOP candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger being "the son of a Nazi party member" and international media outlets assail Schwarzenegger adviser Pete Wilson as "anti-immigrant" and "racially divisive," the liberal press has been stone-cold silent on Bustamante's connection to one of the nation's most virulently racist organizations.
As a student at Fresno State University in the 1970s, Bustamante was an active member of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or MEChA, which stands for the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan. Bustamante repeatedly denies having a "radical ethnic agenda," but he has refused to disassociate himself from his Mechista roots. In fact, Bustamante recently returned to Fresno State for a separate Latino commencement ceremony founded by two of his Chicano activist classmates.
MEChA has been dismissed by some as a harmless social club, but it operates an identity politics indoctrination machine on publicly subsidized college and high school campuses nationwide that would make David Duke and the KKK turn green with envy.
MEChA members in the University of California system have rioted in Los Angeles, editorialized that federal immigration "pigs should be killed, every single one" in San Diego, and are suspected of breaking into a conservative student publication's offices and stealing its entire print run in Berkeley.
MEChA's symbol is an eagle clutching a dynamite stick and machete-like weapon in its claws; its motto is " Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada. (For the Race, everything. For those outside the Race, nothing)."
The MEChA Constitution calls on members to "promote Chicanismo within the community, politicizing our Raza (race) with an emphasis on indigenous consciousness to continue the struggle for the self-determination of the Chicano people for the purpose of liberating Aztlan."
"Aztlan" is the group's term for the vast southwestern U.S. expanse, from parts of Washington and Oregon down to California and Arizona and over to Texas, which MEChA claims to be a mythical homeland and seeks to reconquer for Mexico.

"...Rush with his anti-Arnold riff is on the verge of empowering."Majah ElRushbo, doesn't have that kind of power, especially in California, get real.
In 2000 Rush campaigned for a Republican candidate for governor, John Carlson. 45,000 people came to the event in Puyallup, Washington. The largest political gathering ever in Washington State.
How did that event help at the voting booth? Carlson got stomped by almost 40 percentage points.

Also, he can't possibly be racist because he's a minority. Don't you know that only whites can be racist? < /sarcasm >

I think maybe Rush is trying to push Arnold to the right, but in so doing he risks souring conservatives on Arnold ant handing the governorship to Bustamante.

bustamante's use of the N word Cruz doesn't like black folk any more than he likes white folk: "For those outside the Race, nothing". If they're not "Mechista," it seems, they don't deserve to take up space.

As Hugh Hewett said, they'd rather pull down the whole house than compromise.

Ask any media outlet "why are you ignoring Bustamonte's ties with MEChA?" and their response is always "it's out there."
Yeah, WAY out there.

Maybe, but after Puyallup, (I thought Carlson was going to win after a turn-out like that), I don't see Rush as much of an influence as he is an entertainer, educator of dittoheads, (spoken affectionately), his radio personality didn't bring home the bacon here other than within his base of supporters.
Rush is only highlighting Arnold's positions. If you are afraid of conservatives fleeing, it should be because of what Arnold is doing, not Rush.

Nor can he be intolerant.
Nor can he think for himself.

These 'Mechistas' will say that "Raza" does not mean "Race" in the same way that "Anglos" use the term. Therefore, they'll say, any statement made with the term "Raza" cannot be racist. They'll back that up with a "demonstration" of about 1,000 screaming, fist-waving "students," at any time and at any (public) place.
They're typically not welcome at private schools, though. Socialist tax subsidies and coerced student fees support these racist mestizos and their (illegal) alien invasion. A state the size of California, administered by racist Mexicans, could cause many problems as their ideas and influence leach into the mainstream.

Yeah Tom McClintock is the best running mate Cruz Bustamante could have ever hoped for.
Even though it's the Democrats who will be voting this racist into office.
It'll be the short-sighted, thick-head Republicans that have their heads in the sand that will enable Bustamante to win.
Vote McClintock so that the California GOP can be 2 time loser!
Good job!
