WASHINGTON - The latest Democratic drive to make sure President Bush serves just one term takes a page from the effort to oust a Democratic governor in California, calling its web site "bushrecall" and garnering support through petitions.
A new committee called the Fair and Balanced PAC plans to launch its www.bushrecall.org Web site Thursday. The PAC's founders include Joe Lockhart, a press secretary to former President Clinton, and Mike Lux, a Democratic political consultant.

You can't recall the President. Constitution doesn't provide for it. Although I'm sure the Constitution has no meaning to liberals.

So old Pouty Joe is up to his sleazery again! Not surprising. This guy practically throw a tantrum not unlike that of many four year olds, when any piece of Clinton "policy" was questioned in a press conference.

They're using the word recall now, which is funny because I thought the Democrats OPPOSED a recall, saying it's "bad for America."
And of course, this recall situation in California is a Republican effort... despite the fact that it was supported by nearly 1.5 million petitioners, a sizeable percentage of whom identified themselves as liberal Democrats.

This is the Democratic way to get around the law and raise soft money for these PACs.
Then the Dems will run ads attacking Bush while claiming they are not part of the Democratic Party and therefore able to raise as much soft money as desired.
To: Lunatic Fringe
Once again some Democrats are getting suckered out of a bunch of cash...

Ever hear of "snowballs" in hell? These people
are so ignorant..this President has done more to rid the
earth of scum who hate us than anyone in history..they
are all for putting down the President at each and every
little "nit- wit" thing that happens..like Hillary and the
energy thing in NY...I hope this site and others get in
the election mode and GWB sweeps the nation...Jake

Fatass.com is hers?(is this question somehow redunant?) Where do you think the term "broad-banned" came from?
To: sdk7x7
They're using the word recall now, which is funny because I thought the Democrats OPPOSED a recall, saying it's "bad for America." I don't think you can recall someone who was 'not elected' in the first place. Logic is to democrats as personal hygene is to the french.

I see that they can not get their message out on its own merit, the have to play the Fair and Balanced card in hopes to draw some FOX generated publicity.
To: O.C. - Old Cracker
They need to learn by the example set down by Mrs. Evil: she was forever stating "I can't recall." If she can't recall, they can't. ;-)

They need to read the US Constitution.
The only way to get rid of a sitting President is to find grounds for impeachment. Only then can he be removed from office. They ain't got that.
What a bunch of morons.

The PAC currently plans to raise only limited contributions - known as hard money - from individuals and other political committees. It can spend its money on ads expressly calling for a candidate's election or defeat, and must disclose its fund-raising and expenditures to the Federal Election Commission. Here is an Ad I'd use ... Recall is a part of the Constitution of many states - 18 I believe. However, recall does not apply to the President - which makes these people appear to be what they really are - totally ignorant!!

I wonder how long it will take for them to change the PAC name when the Judge slaps Franken with a huge damage award for FOX because of his book cover.
If I were FOX, I'd tell the PAC - you're next!!
