Sounds like Rush got a call from his global puppet masters. Rush has been so consummed by his wealth and success, he wouldn't know a conservative if it bit him in the EIB mic. I quit listenening to him years ago, when he allowed the queers to change his views. He has become so corrupted by money and status, he probably will be joining the CFR any day.

You should listen to what he said, I don't think you heard the show. He said at his core, Arnold, as an achiever is a conservative, but for whatever reason, Maria, Hollyweird Libs, etc. He has drifted. Rush was calling him out to return to his core.

Sounds like Rush got a call from his global puppet masters. ROTFLMAO. Don't the global puppet masters actually get their orders from Martians? So, couldn't we say the Martians ordered Rushbo to say kind words about Arnold?

This endless RINO crap is the kind of thinking that is going to get Hillary elected. Rush is starting to realize that Arnold's influence would go far beyond just gov of Cal. If nothing else, he would suck the air out of all kinds of Dem candidates wherever he went.

Guess he got his orders again from the White House.

We are still waiting for the clear proclamation by Schwarzenegger as to precisely WHAT he will give to the Conservative Base if he is elected. So far, NOTHING.

I listened to Rush yesterday, and he seemed to be encouraging Californians to seek out a true conservative. Rush even read his op ed piece for the WJS, in it Rush was championing Reagon's success in California, and as president. The theme was even after liberals screwed everything up, and offered no solutions, other than higher taxes, and Carters answer to the energy shortage, was to "wear a sweater", Reagan touted conservative thoughts, and proceeded to change California, the US, and the world.
I do not think that Rush has begun to back peddle on Arnold. He didn't do it on his show anyway.
To: Ronin
I believe Larry Kudlow, and some of Shultz's friends at the Hoover Institution, are also advising Arnold.

And Teve Torbes, too.

Does this qualify as a flip flop or is Rush really Joe Lieberman in disguise? Maybe I'm too dumb to catch Rush's deeply nuanced arguments ;-)

Will the real Rush Limbaugh please stand up?

If Arnold wins and is successful, both of which I think will happen, Republicans more conservative than he will benefit electorally. The sheeple vote on impressions and their impression of the GOP will be more favorable-- boosting their inclination to vote for GOP candidates (regardless of where on the spectrum the candidate is).
AND-- Arnold already has a history of not wanting Boxer in the Senate with his 1992 support of Hershenson. Conservatives should just fixate on the possibility that CA could boot out Boxer next year if things fall into place.

You mean that following the every whim of a seemingly perpetually pissed off middle aged white guy (who makes a lot more money by stirring the pot) is no basis for a rational political viewpoint?
*gasp*
