WFLA | August 22, 2003 | WFLA

Just heard on Tampa Radio news WFLA Terry Schiavo's review has been denied - the original judge will now set a time to pull Terri's feedings and start starving her...

God help a country where this is countenanced.

Sick, sick sick. The state in its infinite wisdom will starve a human being to death at the behest of her sob husband.

I don't believe in the law any more. It's all bs.

The judge that made the ruling should be the one to personally pull her feedings and start starving her.

Actually dipstick I have supported the decriminalization of pot laws for quite some time. But now I'm thinking of changing my position because of horses hindquarters like you.

I wish I had heard the name of the court that denied it, just came in on the end. But for a synopsis, here is Terri's website.

More on her situation is here. Apparently her husband has been living with another woman, who he will marry after Terri's death, and he will inherit what remains of Terri's medical fund, and he has sole and exclusive control over her medical care. Her husband has been trying to kill her for some time and it looks like he will succeed. Disgusting!

A thread on the state affirming the starving death of an innocent woman and you're kind of libertarian idiot thrusts drugs into it.

You're a sick libertarian Colorado. Get some freakin help!

God help a country where this is countenanced.

I am sure God countenanced keeping people alive indefinitely in a nightmarish comatic state through the use of medical technology.

As a matter of fact, hardly anyone needs to die anymore. All we have to do is hook the dying up to a bunch of tubes and wires and they can practically live forever, in a total vegetative state.

Yes, I am sure that is what God countenanced.

I grieve for a nation where deciding whether or not to starve a disabled woman to death is seen as a difficult choice. I am disgusted by one where the agreed-upon answer is 'yes.'

Where is Jeb Bush when he is needed ?

He has remained silent on the issue as far as I know.

Her family can still defy the judge and "kidnap" her. If they can get her to a state where her sicko husband has less influence, then maybe they can save her life.

Your hysterical self-righteousness is frightening.
