Posted on 08/22/2003 4:56:05 PM PDT by Paul8148

I only caught the start and Chris did not preview him being on.

I couldn't believe it they are still going with the same "Field Poll" from a week or more ago!! They can't let that one go, even though it was the ONLY ONE with Arnold losing and the polls since them show Arnold ahead, too!

I only heard of one poll since the field poll. My understanding of the first polls is that they allowed respondents to pick more then one canidate. Not that I can justify why Hardball ignored the latest poll which has Arnold back on top.

Does anyone know of other polls that have come out since then?

I wish Arnold and Simon would drop out and let McClintock run. He is some one who could really fix this state

Look guys, I too like Tom better then Arnold. But unless he starts polling well enough that he might have a shot as the election gets near, I am voting for the Terminator as a pratical matter.

Although I have nothing personal against Simon, he is essentialy one of the two real conservatives--the one that would not do as well as McClintock--so I at least agree he should drop out.

I am not trying to tell anyone what to do. I simply told SunStar how to get more information!

No need to be so sensitive, tophat! I freely admit I can't vote, but I am interested in this election because it affects the entire country.

Vote for whom you wish.

Outside of the PPIC poll which other ones are you referring to? Got any links? Numbers?

Thanks

I saw Mr. 4% on Hannity, He's cross eyed? I didn't know that, could be the reason he is still in the race, he thinks he's at 40 and not 4%.

You aren't trying to save sh*t. You are grandstanding and/or showboating.

I lived 32 years of my young life in California and I'll be GD if you McClintock-bots are going to tank my home state for your stupid purist ideals.

I wish the McClintock vs Schwarzenegger warriors would chill out.

If McCintock appears to be electable as Oct 7 arrives lets vote for him--because he's a solid conservative with a good handle on the fiscal crisis in California. On the other hand, if it shapes up to be Bustamante vs Schwarzenegger lets choose the best of the two--(Schwarzenegger by a long shot).

Moaning and screaming at each other gains nothing.

...Miss Marple I'm not trying to dog anyone but you got to admit a lot of people with no dog in the fight are telling us what to do..... ...

I remember when this state was a great place and I KNOW just how far in the toilet its gone....we need radical change .........not a lite version of more of the same................. Arnold not it!

I’m most likely off to Nevada to start over if things don't change and soon... and there a lot more behind me ...........

I'm not sure of the poll, or polls, sorry. I caught part of the panel segment today on Brit Hume's show & they were talking about Arnold gaining 10 points or more since his press conference.

I understand your position of voting for Arnold if that's the only way a Republican can win.

My concern is - Having a Republican with Democratic views (willing to raise taxes, lots of social programs, etc.) won't fix the state. We need less regulation, lower taxes to get business back. If we don't get that, the CA economy won't get better and people will decide, why vote Republican?

.I haven't decided what I'll do, we'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. I must admit I would rather the recall fail than get Bustamante. He's a communist that wants CA to be given back to Mexico.

Hey I’ve lived all 47 of my years of my life in this state and I still here....

An I'll be GD if im going to vote with some one with no f---ing idea what to do like Arnold just to get a Republican in!

............... dont give me that purist crap....I dont give a flying f—k about Arnold social idea....

What I don’t need is Arnold... “for the children crap!”..........we need some one with a plan....

To give you a clue how pure I am the only other person I would I vote for right now is the the former female Democrat controller of the state if she was run..and she a pro chose feminist ....she also got a game plan very similar to McC...... and that would be over Simon or Uberoth

Purist.. I would vote for a dem with an clue over Arnold if it help this state!

Thanks... that is what I was wondering if there were polls taken since the press conference. I'm sure they will show up soon in the media...... This is going to be a fast mover... only 45 days till the election.... Money and media will be the driving force.... not much time to put together door to door campaigns.....

Geez, have a cocktail and use your spell-check. Calm down, already.

Waste your vote, WTF do I care? I don't live there anymore. Make my elderly parents pay more in taxes. Feel good about it, too!

Vive Bustamonte!
