This is in the middle of Bush's efforts to talk about jobs and the economy. Actions speak louder than words.

I don't know if Haliburton benefits from having few and inefficient refineries. Maybe they do. It's true, though, that there is no reason for these refinery companies to add capacity or improve efficiency. They like to make more money, not less.

Fox just played exerpts of Bush's speech (same as above), along with the RAT response.
"Since Bush has taken office, America has lost 2.5 million manufacturing jobs. That's ten percent, or one in ten jobs".

Guess which version of the American economy resonates with voters...
