I just ordered a Soni Clie PEG-SJ33 PDA and haven't yet been able to find a user-oriented site for Clie owners. Am interested in tips 'n hints, opinions/reviews of accessories, software etc.
What I'm looking for the most is a good appointment/to-do manager. I've never found anything better than Sidekick 98 and don't like Outlook much at all, but realize I need to find a replacement that accurately hotsyncs with the Clie.
I'm sure there's at least one FReeper with one of these gadgets out there.
TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: clie; pda
Thanks for any leads.

(This is our OOL. If you'll notice there's no 'P' in it, let's keep it that way...)

Thanks for the link, but it looks like the most recent message posted to that forum was over a year ago! Guess the locals there lost interest. Or maybe I have no idea how to work the site, more likely.

Ya know what? I still use Sidekick 98 as well. Killer little piece of software. Can't believe the morons at Starfish decided to drop it.

Try brighthand.com and pdabuzz.com. Both have active forums and great articles. They both have Clie specific forums. I personally prefer Brighthand, but both are good.

Newsgroup
comp.sys.palmtop.pilot
It's not just about Palm Pilots. They discuss all handhelds. Everybody is always eager to answer any questions.

Ya know what? I still use Sidekick 98 as well. Killer little piece of software. Can't believe the morons at Starfish decided to drop it. Not only drop it, but they made it worse in versions after '98 and did really stupid things to it, like dropping recurring ToDos and Events! I completely rely on those recurring things, and it really pissed me off when I'd upgraded to a newer release and found they were gone - I immediately demanded a refund and downgraded.
That was years ago, and I have yet to find a manager that works as well for me as old Sidekick '98.

Thanks - that looks interesting; hadn't seen it mentioned or reviewed anywhere yet.
Do you use Agendus? If so - opinions? I like the idea of a Palm app with an equivalent on my Windows notebook and desktop machines.

I don't use it myself; frankly never heard of it until yesterday when I went searching on the Web to give you a hand here (I don't even own a PDA). :) It does look interesting, though.

The cliesource.com site has a lot of mentions of Agendus as a favorite app by users, so thanks for the lead. Also impressed that you went to all that trouble, not even owing a PDA! Gracias.

You're quite welcome..........and it was no trouble at all. That's what FReepers do for each other. :)
