"If you have to choose between live babies or a live abortionist, I'd choose the live babies."

Classic false choice.
How many babies did Hill save by murdering the abortionist? Let me calculate ............. I'm getting there ........ I have it - it's ZERO.

If he wanted to do something with a positive impact, he should have found himself a beach covered with starfish and started throwing them back.

Paul Hill is an idiot. His apologists aren't any better.

Murderers deserve to die. Paul Hill murdered but sp did the abortion doctor. True there probably weren't any babies savied because the women probably went to another doctor to have their murders performed. At least the actions of Paul Hill made other abortionist look over their shoulder 24/7.

No abortions are stopped by murder or unenforceable laws.

Yeah, Yeah. Abortion laws are unenforceable. Roe v. Wade did nothing to increaese the number of abortions in this country because the laws against abortion were unenforceable. /Sarcasm

They prefer dead babies to the dead abortionist

More than anything, this pro-lifer prefers a dead terrorist.

Bye, bye Mr. Hill.

Just about the only place I will NOT carry my handgun is at the Abortuary where I pray on Saturday mornings - a much too emotionaly-charged atmosphere.
I always ask God for guidance when I grab my handgun and head out of the house anyway, but the abortion mill is just too risky for me....

"You may choose but not without consequences."

You're right.

Not only in murder, but in all of our decisions in life.

I repeat. If you make abortion legal there will be endless processions of busses to Canada. This issue does not belong in politics or in the criminal justice system.

His apologists are few in number. But the anti-child forces would like you to believe they are legion so they can scare people. If Paul Hill had walked into a crack house and killed the same number of people, we wouldn't be talking about this.

Ahh...so it was wrong to make slavery illegal because it didn't stop slavery. Slave owners can just go to the Sudan to own slaves. OK. So are you in favor of legalized slavery?

Abortion doctors are not the source of abortions. Hill's logic is like saying that killing one Nazi will stop the holocaust. There will be other 'doctors' to step up and take the available money. It is part of our culture to kill the unborn and it's that part that needs to be changed. Murder is not an effective tool for a pro-life cultural change.

This issue does not belong in politics or in the criminal justice system.

Why not? If you don't think that a fetus is a human life deserving of protection, then I disagree with you but at least your arguments would make sense. It sounds to me, however, that you are just throwing out relatively meaningless statements that you have been spoon-fed.

What other kinds of issues don't belong in politics? If abortion was currently illegal, would you chide pro-abortion people by telling them that the issue "does not belong in politics"?

Even if what you are saying about the streams of busses to canada is true (which I doubt), is that in and of itself a reason not to make it illegal?

Right now, there are 10's of thousands of American men who stream to Thailand and Cuba for the sex trade. Does that mean we should make the sex trade legal here since they are going to stream overseas anyway? Does it mean that the issue "does not belong in politics of the criminal justice system"?

Uh-Oh. Hypocrite alert.

Here is tkathy quoted from the other day:

I would sure like to see severe penalties for polygamy enforced all over the country. I suspect many of them are in all kinds of polygamous (abusive) relationships. This may give the worst of them an excuse to leave.

Why are laws against polygamy enforceable but laws against abortion are not? Won't polygamists just all flee to Canada?

It sounds to me like your views are based on selfishness rather than any sort of moral grounding.

It so hard to be a "pro-choicer". It's hard to justify your beliefs. I think that is why pro-choice radio hosts make it a taboo subject. There is no way to reasonably argue the position.

My sister was a young RN in a big city hospital in the late 60's and early 70's before Roe-Wade. She says there was a steady stream of desperate young women hemorrhaging (don't know how to spell this), with perforated uteruses, etc.
