Okay, Israel, America . . . Let's cut the crap. No more "responding" to terror. That is a losing defensive strategy. Instead, let's attack, Attack, ATTACK!!! . . . Nonstop, around the clock.

Let's give the other side something to "respond" to . . . And then, before they can respond, hit them twenty more times.

(IsraelNN.com) Air force fighter craft a short time ago targeted Hizbullah anti-aircraft guns used to launch two attacks into northern Israel today. More details will be provided as they are made available.

If true, is this the first Israeli strike in to Lebanon since the withdrawal almost 5 years ago? That would be a big deal, correct?

Yes, they do. They talk about pushing Israel into the sea . . . Which is a big joke; they couldn't push one measly column of Israeli tanks into the sea if their lives depended on it.

"WE" should push THEM back into the cesspool from whence they've come. And we could do it easily if we put our minds to it and ignored the braying anti-semitic jackasses in France, the UN, etc.

"I don't want to get any messages saying, "I am holding my position." We are not holding a Goddamned thing. Let the Germans do that. We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding onto anything, except the enemy's balls. We are going to twist his balls and kick the living shit out of him all of the time. Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy. We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like shit through a tin horn!"

thank you george (AKA Yehuda) patton....

seriously, there are tens of thousands of kassam rockets in southern lebanon in the hands of hizbullah. this could get nasty... the IAF can handle things quite capably but that is only if uncle gwb keeps his mouth shut...

It's not the first. They took out the AA site which killed an Israeli kid sitting on his porch, eating a sandwich, just the other week. I recall others. The IAF also likes to make mock bombing runs, and fly low and exceed the speed of sound over the Hizballah supporting neighborhoods of Beiruit. Those must be some Brown Alert moments for the Jihadis. ;)

IAF destroy anti-aircraft cannon following Hizbullah attack
By THE JERUSALEM POST INTERNET STAFF

On Wednesday evening, the IAF destroyed a Hizbullah anti-aircraft cannon, which was used to fire anti-aircraft shells at the western sector of the Israeli-Lebanese Border ealier in the day. There were no casualties or property damages in the attack.

This is the first shelling since the deadly attack last August, in which Haviv Dadon, a 16-year-old from Shlomi, was killed and five others wounded.

I hopw they bomb them flat. As a matter of fact, why stop there? Damascus, the Bekkaa Valley, and other areas need a dose of Israeli vengeance.

God bless the Israeli Air Force, and Godspeed to each of them in their mission. May they each return home safe to the loving arms of their families.

Well for Heavens sake, I'm not saying we repeat the failed drive to Beirut. What ever gave you that idea? That didn't even qualify as a half-measure, but was yet another in a series of weak "responses" to terror.

No, you DO NOT stop at Beirut and the Bekaa Valley and a fuzzy imaginary line called the Lebanese-Syrian border. I'm saying you must drive RIGHT INTO THE HEART OF THE ARABIAN BEAST: Damascus, Tehran, Qom, Riyadh, Medina, Tripoli, Mecca, etc., killing everything with balls, and everything without balls, as long as it's running around uulating and handing out sweets to babies.

You raze the cities, burn down the mosques, hand out the Koran to your troops to be used as toilet paper, and chase everything else that survives out into the remote desert, barefoot and carrying only the torn and filthy rags they wear on their backs. You appropriate their oil and scour the burning cities for anything else of value.

They want to return to the 7th Century. We should return them.

Sherman would understand.

This is provocation pure and simple from Israel. They buzz Lebanon residential areas with sonic booms, Hezbollah opens fire with AA, some of which ends up landing in N. Israel, which gives Israel an excuse to take it up another notch by bombing in "retaliation".

I guess Sharon needs a shootin' war before his scandals get him thrown out of office.

You might want to do a little homework on Israeli immigration policies and policies towards Christians (property rights, distribution of Christian literature, etc.) before you call the moving company. I suppose it's safer than a Muslim country, but don't mistake it for a Christian country.

BS pure and simple.

The Hizballah AA isn't fired at the warplanes - the AA they have has 0 chance of hitting them. Most of the plane flights are actually survaillance flights over the Bekaa Valley and Beiruit. The flights other purpose is to keep the terrorists on their toes, so that they know - if they screw up too bad, they will die.

Last time I checked, sonic booms haven't killed anyone. AA falling to earth has. Israel blows up Hizballah AA (how many "political parties" have their own AA and rocket artillery?), Hizballah tries to kill (and kidnaps) civillians.

Hizballah uses the AA as ground to ground artillery fire, by shooting it at residential areas and forests in an attempt to start fires and kill people.

Nice attempt at a moral equivalency argument.

Try again.

It is possible that the weapons themselves were not the only target or even the primary one. Hizbollah has an endless supply of obsolete anti-aircraft guns and Soviet era mortars. Another target is quite a bit more fragile: Hizbollah has a greatly exaggerated sense of its own invincibility, based on Fisk/Pilger misrepresentations of the Israeli withdrawal and their own apparent success in butchering some prisoners and gloating about it. This propaganda image is important to them and their apologists at Guardian, Independent, and Reuters, among others. This delusional self-image should be squarely in the bullseye.

Specifically, the Israelis might be able to target whatever shelter the Hizbollah scum take to when the IDF/AF shows up. Warning time is very low, so these have to be close to the guns, within a few meters in all likelihood. These shelters could be located during a mock attack, with an IDF jet swooping toward the Hizbollah position and breaking off at the last second, while a surveillance drone watches the Hizbollah crews bolt for their holes. The drone video could then be used to determine exact GPS coordinates for each foxhole, bunker, or cave, with appropriate weapons then being employed against each such point.

These animals are quite impressed with gore and bloodshed. Hizbollah has posted billboards right on the border displaying graphic images of mutilated IDF soldiers. These obscenities are immune to attack because they are placed next to UN compounds. Having the Hizbollah killers dig their own out of a shelter with spoons and mops might get the message across in spite of this.

good then time to end this war, it can go on forever or we help one side win, and that side would obviously be israel since they hold our values unlike the islamo murderers, who killed all of those people in the trade towers on 9/11. americans need to remember who our enemies are.

Hizballah uses the AA as ground to ground artillery fire, by shooting it at residential areas and forests in an attempt to start fires and kill people.

Simply wrong. These incidents have always been related to firing on Israeli aircraft violating Lebanese airspace--I challenge you to show me a case to the contrary. Some of the shells happen to land on Israeli territory--maybe you can make the case that they are malevolently careless about it. Hizballah also has bombardment artillery that would be much better suited for the purposes that you claim of AA, but they don't use it. Because they're not the ones trying to provoke another Israeli invasion.

The US owes Hizballah bigtime for numerous atrocities in the past. They no doubt support the Palis clandestinely in subversion and are enemies of Israel. But by and large they have remained in defensive positions in southern Lebanon since 1982 and have not attacked Israel proper. Meanwhile, the Israelis are trying to provoke them into war by means of car bombs and flying simulated combat missions as though Lebanon is a big test range for Israeli combat aircraft.

Nice attempt at a moral equivalency argument.

I love this question-begging device called 'moral equivalency' which apparently can be used to justify any action. What you mean is, Muslims are not "morally equivalent" to our friends the Israelis because they're our enemies and have done many bad things, so anything Israel does to them can't be bad because they're not "morally equivalent".
