I too, don't think the PRC is stupid enough to risk a war with the US just over a mad man. However, PRC is equally wary of a pro-American unified Korea sitting right across her border. That's PRC's headache, not mine.

I agree. The Chinese influence in Korean Peninsula will grow thanks to ham-handed N. Korean behavior, the one who always professes to be self-reliant and independent.:)

They are quite capable of moving in, securing the country and giving it to the South Koreans to forstall that. After all South Korea is now a major trading partner of the PRC
