John, put that hairbrush down and pull yourself away from the mirror for a second. We need to have a little talk.
What, you're not sure you want to sit? You'd like to sit some of the time and stand some of the time? You're saying that by sitting, that in no way means you don't like standing?

Dean's got the 'mo,' but can he keep it?*** Whether Dean has a liberal or centrist record may be a matter of perspective, said Eric Davis, a professor of political science at Middlebury College in Vermont. "The political spectrum in Vermont is different from the country as a whole, and on that spectrum, Dean is a centrist," he said. "But in the national context, he's more to the left of center."***

I love it when he says that Vietnan protestors were just as brave as Vietnam veterans. Nothing like a little revisionism to grovel for the votes of cowards that you are afraid might not vote for you because you fought in Nam.

Kerry Ketchup is impossible to understand. I've tried but have given up. Considering that most voters don't really pay much attention to politics (at least pre 9/11), Kerry is toast with his incoherent message and frequent flip flops.
He's a Gore without the sweat.

Anyone who pays a French queer 120 bucks for a ten minute bad haircut is not fit to serve.
He also told fellow Vietnam protesters that he threw his own medals over the WH fence. He lied. He threw another guy's medals away.
Clinton was anti military, so is Kerry when not acting.

Kerry is makintg the same mistake as AlGore. Each day a new image. He's trying every image he can to find just the right one. Gore did the same, and people soon realized he wasn't being himself, he had no real convictions. Same with the Ketchup boy. And people see it now.

Covered in ketchup, and served by a French-looking waiter.

The lip-lock between Dean and the national press will inevitably end An acknowledgement from the Press that the Press is very busy promoting Howard Dean as the next President? I guess that's "balanced" by the columnist's friendly advice to Kerry about how HE might become the next President ("Heat up ... Lighten up.")
When will the Globe publish an editorial which provides solid advice to George W Bush about how he can win a second term? No, I'm not looking for one of those editorials that advices Republicans to adopt Gay Marriage, Higher Taxes, Socialized Medicine, and Surrender to the UN ... I'm waiting for the Globe to provide real advice to both political parties. An objective Media outlet would do that, right?

Being objective isn't the Globe's position. They're partisan through and through. But this is an opinon piece, not that that ever stopped the LIBERAL media from spinning in the "news" sections.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
I agree with you. I am a Mass. resident, so I know the Globe. However, I guarantee that if you asked the Globe Management if they were partisans for the Left, they would say, "Oh, no -- we're really Objective and Fair." But if that were true, their opinion pieces would be about 50% pro-Republican. As it is, they have Jeff Jacoby and little else. Pieces like this one from McGrory show how far they choose to go in a pro-Democrat direction. But how far will they go in a pro-Republican direction?
Yet they will claim to be Objective.
