To Whom it may Concern,

If your a strict Constitutionalist, this document would be followed exactly: word by word. When the founding father were putting this document together they also spent alot time thinking things out. And it's been working quite effectively since our country started. We had many challenges in our history and our Constitution keeps us in check.

"We the People of the United States, In Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Prosterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

Here are the Articles that are being scrutinized by free loving people.

"Article VII, Amendment IV - The right of the people to secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, BUT UPON PROBABLE CAUSE, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

Article VII, Amendment V - No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, UNLESS ON PRESENTMENT OR INDICTMENT OF A GRAND JURY, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, WITHOUT DUE PROCESS OF LAW; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

But I think some free-minded people just look at certain lines and everything revolves around that.

They only see: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated."

and "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property."

US Constitution is the law of the land. Even if we have our freedoms we have responsiblities to perserve it. It does not promote free for all. Our government is responsible in safe guarding our way of life and to defend the Constitution. They take oaths don't they? In my opinion the Patriot Act is perfectly legal if it follows the Constitution.
