Yah... but again... why does somebody expect privacy when using a computer that does not belong to them?

And yet they'd have us believe John Ashcroft and "Sneak & Peak" are the real threats.

John Ashcroft himself argued against this sort of crap when he himself was a senator. Funny how some have a change of heart, eh?

I have no idea what FR's official position is, but I assume I'm allowed to voice my opinion, in any event. Unless you, the ACLU and CAIR have a problem with it...

Dunno. Maybe because Hussein Ibish told them they were victims?

That thread is a bit bickery (if I can take some lisence with the language). It would be an interesting poll subject though for all freepers.

Sorry, I'm afraid you'll have to link us to anything backing up your Ashcroft claim. And if it was before 19 Arabs used our open society and civil liberties to murder 3000 fellow Americans, you lose.

As I said on that thread, everyone is entitled to their personal opinion. However, there are those there who intend to make their personal position the FR postion.

But I think the main concerns are the computers in libraries, because one or more of the 9/11 terrorists used library and internet cafe computers to communicate with each other.

Any future terrorist has since learned that there are wifi connections in any broadband neighborhood they choose to "cruise"...tapping into, who knows, you have wifi broadband??? You've protected you connnection right...good. So many haven't. Broadband internet connections are nothing but cheap equipment and a half a gallon of gasoline to be had now...with no traceability these days.

Libaries are soooooo "last month" (not even yesterday)....

Ashcroft left the Senate l;ong before 9-11. I suppose that if Arabs somehow used guns to kill 3,000 folks, you'd be clamoring for disarmament?

So, where's the link?

Where did Ashcroft ever fight "S&P"?

Was it "S&P" by local police?

Since it took the Democrats 40 years to cut the gonads off all our intel agencies, you must be talking about some vote Ashcroft cast with them...or some local case when he was AG in Georgia?

When did he fight that battle?

So are box cutters.

And I trust you fear them greatly...

Fear not however...the Gov't will save you from all your fears, just "vote" accordingly.

OH MY...what is one to do???

Could have had a "big ole scary bomb" in this crate... Man shipped from New York to Texas in crate (w/computer & clothes)
