Having been in Scandinavia last month, I was shocked at the massive numbers of Arab Muslim extremists that are up in Norway, Sweden and Denmark for the free welfare handouts and "multi-culti tolerance." I was aware of all this before I was up there, but it still shocks the heck out of you when you actually see the sheer numbers of Islamic fundamentalists who have invaded those countries.

IMHO, the REAL security problems facing Sweden and her neighbors will be caused by the out-of-control population of intolerant Muslims up there. They are not Boy Scouts and when their welfare handouts dry up, I predict they will be turning to crime. Of course, the Leftist Scandinavians I discussed this with accused me of lacking compassion.

It wasn't Schroeder. I forget the guy's name (begins with an "M",) but he was a cabinet minister in Kohl's government who was recently expelled from the FDP.

By the way, this Lindh assassination is likely to create a sympathy vote for the euro in the referendum. That could have been a reason to have a professional hit (which this is likely to have been, if the assassin gets away.)

I strongly disagreed with Mrs Lindh´s political views.
That does not mean she deserved to be murdered. In fact, I regarded her as the best minister we had in Sweden (which really says a lot about the rest... ;-))

There is no link to John Walker Lindh - Lindh is a common name.

As it turned out, the murder really boosted the "No" vote in the euro referendum. The prime suspect at the moment is known for his neo-nazi sympathies and they are vehemently opposed to the euro - as are the communists. This was a good reason for me to vote "Yes"....
