I've always thought "Empty Suit" was running for V.P., but with his low numbers what could he bring to a ticket? Certainly not the Southern vote.
His fellow lawyers gave him so much money, it's gratifying to see it squandered!

Why would any Demmycrat nominee chose Edwards for VP? They would be more likely to choose Graham. Edwards knows he is political toast. So why does he contine to run for Prez? Because he is getting a lot of publicity for himself as an ambulance chasing attorney. He wants to get those buku bucks after he leaves office. It's funny that he actually believed all those Clinton promises.

I can't believe that this was printed in the Raleigh News and Observer. Heretofore, they've been ardent Edwards' fans. It's a "Jim, he's dead moment". (We peons have known it for a long time.)

Sure doesn't look that way now. He may still be able to deliver NC as a VP, with all the manufacturing losses there, but I wouldn't even put money on that.
