Another handwringer that reads like the voice of Cofi Annan and Daschle's soft monotones.

I'm not ready to count Bush out. He has the leverage at any time to come out and speak and the world listens. I've seen him campaign in the last midterms and he brought many into office.

We'll see how it goes.

It's worth noting that even in a Marxist state like California, the Democratic contender in the recall election is only ahead in the polls because there are many GOP candidates.

The economy has actually been doing quite well for some time,...

Oh, really? Had me fooled!

The facts don't matter: voters are becoming increasingly convinced that the economy is bad, and after four years they will hold Bush responsible.

The "fact" is that people vote their wallets.

" Because of the things stated in this article, this is why I think Hillary will run in 2004.
Right now though with this weakness if Hillary ever wants to run she has to make her move now or the opportunity may not come again. If Dean or any other Democrat wins against Bush then her time will never come.
I think Hillary will run and get thte nomination and that Clark will be her running mate for VP. "

I agree 1000% . Hillary will run and win in 2004 . America is a sick beast , and deserves what she gets . I say this as I shed tears for the America I once knew ...

...he sighed, and then had the best line I have heard from in awhile. "The more we hate them, the more they seem to win, the more we can tolerate them, the more they lose"

That's very interesting- it calls to mind the right's recent experience with the Clintons.

Bush has lost my support. I'm staying home unless he makes some changes. The man is not a conservative.

If that means Hitlery wins, so be it. The sooner this country self-destructs the sooner we can start over.

Newbie distrupter, are you ? You and your serial caller type pals, here, on this thread, don't pass the smell test.

You and your ilk, who want this country to self destruck/deserves to have yet another Clinton for president, are not Conservatives, do not understand politics, and most assuredly, do not give a damn about this nation. How old are you ? Your phyical age doesn't really matter; your mental age is infantile!

Stay in Japan, cover your head with whatever is handy, and stop posting. You and your doom & gloom, perverse ilk, deserve the calumny heaped upon you. THE SKU IS FALLING, chicken littles of this world, should all go off somewhere and enjoy their misery together, instead of foisting it on the rest of us.

Hilary will NOT run in '04. President Bush is NOT as weak as you and a few others imagine him to be. Neither would he be as easily trounched, by Hilary, as you imagine. Hilary will only run, if she can be somehow gaurenteed to win.She isn't. So, she won't run in '04.

Old enough that I don't have to resort to name calling.

GWB is doing what he has to do to get elected. He, despite not being perfect, is a marvelous president.

Gosh this article has brought out all the naysayers. Please, remember the 2002 elections. Jeb Bush was toast. Remember? Never does the presidential party win in mid term elections. Remember?

President Bush is being bombarded by the media--negatively and the more you report a lie or report distorted information the more you start believing it. It is called brainwashing. Does any one here not get suspicious that there is NO reporting of the good going on in Iraq. 5000 bodies found in graves--ho hum, who cares is the attitude. No WMD found tho Saddam had for over 12 years and Clinton believed it and so did the UN. Do people really believe that Saddam had an epiphany and flushed them all down the commode? Sheesh--

And I am afraid people here are starting to believe it or are trying to disperse this propaganda.

Only lesson to be learned is never to lose the vigilance and the hard work. Never never never give in to naysayers--

What unbelievable tripe you are writing.

We were attacked--not France, not Germany, not Russia--we were attacked on 9/11/01. The president's duty is to keep us safe. We MUST go to where the terrorists are and destroy them in their homeland. Not get destroyed in our own homeland.

So many American lives were lost in the Clinton term and each attack was bigger b/c the Clinton administration never retaliated. Your psychobabble is just that psychobabble. We need a strong president who will defend us. No democrat except for maybe Lieberman will be willing to do it.

You say President Bush has a destructive streak and is wrapped up in warped religion. Never, has a belief in God being described as warped religion. I have read a lot of your writings and you probably dislike Bush b/c of his faith in God.

This is terrible. Maybe Bush ought to resign now and work out a deal with the Democrats while he still has a chance ?

DisAgree with ya 3 times. Bush will win!!.

The American people are smart--the media and the pundits are presently running the information data and that is what we all are responding to.

This present war is the war for our survival. If we don't win we will pass on to our children fear and death. That to me is the most important issue--can we defeat the terrorists and who will be the best party/president to do it. After CLinton's successful economic terms ending with the 9/11 attacks, my prayers and my hopes are with President Bush, b/c I doubt the democrats have the "huevos" to defend America.
