ALBRIGHT: 'IF THERE WAS A PRESIDENT GORE, WE WOULDN’T BE IN THIS PARTICULAR MESS'
Time ^ | 9-14-03 | J.F.O. MCALLISTER AND MADELEINE ALBRIGHT

Posted on 09/14/2003 1:15:23 PM PDT by jmstein7

--SNIP--

Q: What should the U.S. do next?

A: Frankly, if there was a President Gore, we wouldn't be in this particular mess. But we are, and we cannot fail. I very much hope there will be a U.N. resolution that makes clear the U.S. has military command but that would set up a U.N. high representative to coordinate the political and humanitarian things the U.N. does very well.

--SNIP--

More Q&A in article, including...

Q: Did you neglect the threat posed by Osama bin Laden and leave it for the Bush Administration to clean up?

A: President Clinton focused on terrorism from the start. The CIA set up a special bin Laden division, and the President authorized the use of lethal force against him. We struck his camp in 1998 after the embassy bombings, and we came close. President Bush has been in Afghanistan with 8,000 troops, and they still haven't found him.

She's right. If we had a President Gore, then after September 11th we would have surrendered our sovereignty top the United Nations with the screams of "Protect us!" and everything would be all hunky-dory right now...

Nope. We'd be warbling prayers five times a day.

Don't forget the martial law that would have probably been imposed almost immediatley after the terror strikes. The Clinton Administration was always looking for an excuse to do that.

Madeline Albright is an idiot.

Sheesh...these liberals are total morons.

Misleading. President Clinton set up a bin Laden division after several attacks and many dead Americans in his second presidency. He ignored him all throughout the first.

She's right-- post 9-11, after we'd all gotten back from the drycleaners to get them awful skid marks out of our collective trousers, we'd all be joining the local mosques in response to a presidential directive to "better understand the inherent cry for help that caused our Muslim brethren to resort to such attention-getting strategies, praise Allah."

What's aggravating is that she still gets treated by the lamestream press as though she is still relevant. The press continues to give the former Xlinton officials the platform to spin history. It's funny to watch at times, but aggravating.

Nope, doesn't make my blood boil. Just shows her up for the silly, ignoramous woman she truly is. All I can say is thank GOD there was not a President Gore or we would have been worse off.

I'm proud of George W. Bush our elected President of the United States. A man of his word and conviction. Word and Conviction...didn't find those words or evidence thereof anywhere in the previous clintin-loserman administration.

Maddy was never taken seriously by the USA or foreign countries anyway so who does she think she talking to????She was a figurehead is all.... just another pawn in the clintin/loserman administration of the PAST!!!

Nope, I am secure knowing President Bush and his administration are in charge and also proud he is from the state of Texas even though I am not.

She was never relavant. She was always a bloodthirsty psychopath who thinks our troops are are cannon fodder to acheive the culmination of the Third Way. Remember Kosovo and Somalia. Never forget Albright BRAGGING about how WE trained and armed the "ethnic Albanians" so they could take over...and then helped them do just that. We're still looking for those "mass graves"

Madeline Albright?

Doesn't she like, clean houses or something?

Apparently several world leaders believe so.

In that case I can see why Clinton kept her so close to the oral office.

Apparently she doesn't do laundry.

R-I-I-I-G-H-T....they ordered an empty building flattened when Genifer or Monica - there were so many it does get confusing - was about to give testimony about the Bent One. Then pulled back. And what about Sudan trying to hand Binny to Clinton on a silver platter and Clinton refused?

" Frankly, if there was a President Gore, we wouldn't be in this particular mess"

Does Albright define " mess " as having deposed Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein ? Does "mess" mean rounding up Al Queda ? Does "mess" mean 2 years of a terror free US ? Does " mess" mean converting 2 terror havens into potential democracies-one within 120 days ? I guess to Albright, a " mess" is anything that doesn't involve the UN and the French calling the shots.I define "mess" as eight years of Clinton -appeasing and enabling terrorists. You had your chance,Madam UglyHat and failed.
