"TOM McSELFISH = Gov. BustaMENCHA"

NEVER FORGET

.."TOM McSELFISH =

...Gov. BustaMENCHA"

........was THE Sign to behold at this weekend's California Republican Convention held in Playa Del Rey next to the Los Angeles International Airport. So I did.

...No Convention Endorsement came for California Governor, but a posted Convention Straw Poll showed ARNOLD with nearly ..80%.. of the votes verses a little over ..18%.. for TOM McCLINTOCK.

...No one backed down this weekend, though it was hoped one Candidate for California Governor would, with Recall Election Financier Congressman ISSA watching it all unfold right before his very eyes.

Signed:.."ALOHA RONNIE" Guyer / Republican Convention Witness

NEVER FORGET

Hey, Aloha Ronnie. What does BustaMENCHA mean? It sounds like "mensch", but that means a good person.

"NEVER FORGET"

It is sad, they have forgotten. We are on the eve of witnessing
the fall of this State, like the Twin Towers. Who is standing?

Of all people, where are the clergy of ALL demonations?
They are AWOL and such hypocrites. It makes me sick.

Fortunately, I have the grace of God with me. Do you?

Good luck, Aloha Ronnie.

True. Sadly, you haven't given this concept enough thought to keep you from spewing irrational insults at those who might be exercising just a tad more caution.

Tom McSelfish, eh?

McSelfish has been behind this recall effort since day one. While McSelfish was hitting the talk radio circuit encouraging people to download petitions and gather signatures, Shrivernegger was mouthing off about what a bad idea this recall effort was.

As a matter of fact, has Shrivernegger even endorsed the recall effort yet or is he still opposed to it?

I can't agree with you there. I see Arnold as sincere, though misguided in certain respects. That alone sets him apart from the Sacramento Democrat whores, which means that there's a chance he could be reasoned with. There is, however, a good chance that he's so surrounded by wrong-minded people, he won't be as effective as he might be in stopping the insanity. Still, he'd be preferable to an actively corrupt Dem. Sort of like coasting downhill in neutral as opposed to shifting into drive and flooring it.

...to the then Communist Soviet Union when it sent the Tanks in on the rebelling Peoples of Communist Hungary, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia at the height of the Cold War =

...What a Super Accurate Comparison from ARNOLD who witnessed it all from his Free home country Austria, sitting right next to all 3 Communist
enslaved countries. T'was all so UNFORGETTABLE for him..?

McClintock is off his rocker. He has no idea what California
politics is about; Oh, maybe he does!

Every time a Republican candidate takes a moral high road, they loose.

He is opening the way to destroy this State and give it back to
Mexico. "Viva Poncho Bustamante", will be the chant!

Sick, sick, sick. Tom (McClintock) you are no friend of mine!

MEChA is the organization Bustamante was a member of and is still refusing to repudiate, which organization wants to take part of the US and turn it into Aztlan.

So Some people calle Bustamante BustaMEChA, putting the name of the org in there, as a reminder. I think someone just misspelled MEChA and it turn into Bustamencha.

Yes, I already read it. However, while Arnold paints himself as a fiscal conservative in his ads and speeches, he works against that impression by his choice of advisors, which doesn't suggest that he really knows what he's doing, whatever his intent. That worries some of us, and our caution is resulting in us being insulted by Arnold's supporters because we want to wait and see how he handles himself in a debate (if he can't make his case there, how can we expect him to do so when going up against the Democrat machine in Sacramento?) before we commit ourselves to voting for him if McClintock's numbers haven't become viable by that time.

...Actually, Viacom's 2 TV Stations in Los Angeles did show the posted Straw Poll that stood in the hallway right outside the Main Convention Room.

...The same on the scene TV Report was aired on KCBS-TV Channel 2, and KCAL-TV Channel 9 right after TOM McSELFISH finished his Convention Speech. The Straw Poll Poster Board had been standing right in front of the TV Reporter's Eyes while he was reporting.

I then thanked the man Reports he's been giving us all during the California Recall.

Sorry Ronnie, but this equation is old, and just isn't persuasive to those of us who'd vote for McClintock tomorrow.

If the Schwarzenegger campaign wants our votes, they need to make their candidate more appealing, starting with his positions.

The ball is in Schwarzenegger's court. Let's see how he handles it.

"demonations"

Oh, I wish I was THAT clever tonight. I'm just tired.

The current attitude in this country is getting to me.

I was raised to be honest, fair, devoted and respectful.
The 10 years of USAF life continued this attitude. Now,
I see and hear the traitors of this country not being
held responsible by "so-called" Republicans. I am tired
of fighting. Why? Just to be pounded the next day?

Thanks for your "heads-up".

IF Hillary is nominated (not likely), she carries Kalifornistan no matter who is in charge. Sorry.

New York had a Republican governor in 2000. New York easily gave its electoral votes to a RAT in 2000. New York will have the same Republican governor in 2004. New York will easily give its electoral votes to a RAT in 2004. Heck, you guys had a REPUBLICAN governor in both 1992 and 1996. Clinton EASILY won BOTH times. Get the picture?

Instead of praying for a RINO who will magically make the state go to Bush, you might be praying for someone like Al Sharpton to get the RAT nomination. Unless some total joke is running, Kalifornistan is RAT turf.

Kalifornistan will also continue morphing into Mexico Jr. whether Bustabutt or Arinold is in charge. Both favor letting illegals stay here all they want and giving them amnesty. Both have vowed NOT to stand in the way of them getting a nice taxpayer funded education and plenty of jobs here. You may not like it, but that's reality.

Barring a conservative upset by Busta and Arnie splitting the majority liberal vote there, nothing will change.

How is Schwarzenegger selfish, in your mind?

From the Convention speech:

I say: let’s unite for victory!

I tell people if you believe that California cannot afford three more years of losing jobs – then join me.

If you want to get politics out of education for the good of our children – then join me.

My fellow Republicans, if you want to get the Davis-Bustamante administration out of Sacramento and put in a Republican administration, then join me.

I believe we Republicans can do great things together!

You raise an interesting point. Would actual Conservatives be better served by voting "No/McClintock"?? Seems to me as an outside observer that a weakened Davis would provide more opportunity to elect a Republican in 2006, maybe even one with coattails, than a nominal Republican taking over the current mess and getting blasted in 2006 for not fixing it.

Exactly. And coupled with the mess that years of Democratic agenda have done, I don't think a Republican can straighten it out...especially a RINO like Arnold. The failure would do irreparable harm to Republican interests for the foreseeable future. It would give the Democrats a platform for '06 and shift the blame from themselves.

I don't see anything selfish about that.

Selfish is knowing you can't win (and there can be little doubt that he does), but stubbornly refusing to allow a fellow Republican who can to save the state from the clutches of the Democrats to hold the office he wants for himself but can't have.

I'm not star struck (I'm in the entertainment field, and I have worked with celebrities...and I've never been a Schwarzenegger fan anyway); I didn't start out with an unfavorable impression of McClintock, but the longer he demonstrates that he does not love California enough to bow out really does bother me.

When President Bush was running, a reporter said of him that he saw a man who loved America more than he wanted to be president. McClintock would impress a lot of people if he allowed California a Republican governor - for the love of the state, and the love of the people. But it really doesn't look like he's selfless enough to do that.
