Oh Aqua - that is such a powerful message. It's so true. We all need to take time out from our "busy" days to tell the people that we appreciate just how much they mean to us!

Greetings, Finest !!
Here is the kind of story we love to see - -
Home at last
Marine 1st Sgt. Jose Henao of 1/2 Charlie Company,
Task Force Tarawa, plays with his daughter Isabella
June 24 at his home in Camp Lejeune, N.C. He has been
reunited with his daughter after being deployed in Iraq.
Photojournalist Joe Raedle documented the company's return after covering Task Force Tarawa's critical role
in the Iraq war.
God bless each and every man and woman in service for our country,
and all those dear to them.

Holding my breath about Isabel. She isn't a nice lady. Beautiful Indian Summer day.

Good afternoon (((((MEG))))))
I echo your sentiments about our roops *and* hurricane Isabel. I hope and pray our friends on the east coast stay out of harm's way.

I will keep you and all of our other east coast FReeper FRiends in prayer. Usually I am praying for my family and friends in FL when a hurricane is approaching. This time it looks as though they, for once, are out of harm's way.

Thank you,ladtx.
Went shopping in Myrtle Beach last week, and in checking out, the small store manager was a tall dude with pony tail whose bearing cried 'military.'
Engaged him in conversation, relating I'd remained on base there (now closed) when my husband was sent to Southeast Asia, and he responded he had been an Army chopper pilot over there - - - nice to say it calmy now, pain diminished; and recognition was exchanged.....
